I have a bad issue with my phone; I have been charging it in the car with a less-than-stable wire that would continually lose and then pick up a charge again.
Upon bringing it home to my good wire, I received a notification that my good charger was unsupported; two hours before this, the phone worked correctly with no issues with this good wire.
Now, the phone is dead; whenever I attempt to plug the good wire into the phone, it seems to detect a wire (IE: Whenever I pull the wire out, the screen goes blank), but instead of showing the charge logo, it gives me the "plug in" sign instead.
Did the bad wire fry the charge port? I have zero clue as to what to do; I went and bought a new wire just now, only for it to not work either. I've tried multiple charge ports and outlets as well to no avail.
What options do I have?
