So I recently bought an iPhone off ebay but it's stuck in activation mode and I can't sign in to my Apple ID to set up the phone because it's locked to the previous owners Apple ID and I can't contact the previous owner. The phones iCloud isn't working. Is there any way I can restart it (so it's not on the other Apple ID) myself or will I have to take it to a electronics repair shop?
Well a friend's associate sold his phone to my friend, who, in turn sold it to me. I wanted to activate the phone but in the start there was some problem in the activation, so I didn't activate it. However after fiddling with it for a while I noticed that the Wi-Fi stopped showing, which was needed to activate the iPhone.
I noticed that even when the iPhone was near the Wi-Fi modem the Wi-Fi wasn't showing. How do i fix this?
I think that I may have somehow turned Wi-Fi off on the device. I saw some videos on YouTube afterwards that there were some software vulnerabilities of the ios7. People had managed to reach the home screen by emergency call and dialling 112 (although most the abilities were nearly all restricted).

It records my voice, but it sounds a bit choppy. Every second or two, the sound will cut out and it just doesn't sound right! Sorry if this is a vague question, but I don't know how else to describe it.
