KIK What does the S mean on iPhone?

I know S is sent D is delivered and R is read, but usually when you send a message to an iPhone and the device is offline is supposed to appear a faded D. Today I sent a kik message to an iPhone and an S appeared, what does that mean? Isn't the faded D supposed to appear?

Is it better to risk everything or stay on the safe side in life?

My parents think i'm spending all my time studying because i'm finishing college in May 2015. However, i'm actually spending most of my time developing my iphone app. This year i took it upon myself to teach myself to program in 3 languages. Now i'm almost done with my app. Long story short, if this app is not a success, i'm going to be screwed big time because I'm not in love with my major but i picked it because of pressure from my family. However, if by some odd chance my app is a success, i don't want to be a one hit wonder. Also, i don't want to stop now because i've come so far and worked so hard, everyday there's a new challenge that i think would be impossible for me to overcome, but at the end of the day, i do.

How does one know whether to take this huge risk with the app or just quit it, listen to my parents and continue with the degree that will make me hate myself for the rest of my life.

Safety OR risk. What's the correct path?

Added (1). My parents don't know anything about me learning to program or anything about this app. If they found out now, they'd tell me i'm wasting my time and tell me what i'm doing is stupid. They want me to get that degree no matter what. Everything in my life so far has been an utter failure. Been a very rough road for the past few years. I'm working myself like a dog to try and make this app a success but in the end, i don't know of the future.

IOS 8.2 for iphone 5. I'm STILL experiencing problems with my iPhone?

I have tried just about everything I know to do: I have tried restoring my phone, turning it on and off using the home and lock button, killing my apps, reseting Wi-Fi.

Problems I'm having with my iPhone 5 after downloading iOS 8: I can barely unlock my screen it barely ever responds to touch. I can't type, click on anything, basically I can never use it at all. When it starts to get glitchy grey lines start to appear in the background.

I'm So frustrated with this update and all the glitches it came with. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

IPhone 6 16Bg or 64 GB? Which one would you get?

IPhone 6 16Bg or 64 GB? Which one would you get?

Added (1). So i'm getting a new phone, and I want an iPhone 6 but i don't know whether I should get a 16 GB or 64 GB? Which one would you get? I don't plan on getting too many games, only about 10-20, probably only gonna have 100 songs because all the other ones I have in pandora and such. I do have a couple shopping apps on my phone, as well as some other app, so how much memory do you think I need?

Can stepdad take stuff I bought with my work money?

I'm a minor with a stepdad I really don't like. Anyways, is he legally able to take the things I bought with my job money without my mothers consent? He hasn't adopted me and isn't planning to. He isn't on my birth certificate and no one will be. He claims that since it's his house I have to do what he says and he makes the rules. So he walked in my room and took the PS4 I bought TWO DAYS AGO because they called from the school saying his son fell asleep in class. He said it was my fault because I let him stay up on the PS4 which I didn't. As soon as the clock said 9:00 I told him to go to sleep. Turns out my little brother waits until I leave in the morning and starts playing.Everytime something is wrong, he says it's my fault and he doesn't even know the situation me. He literally attacked me once and I had to fight back or I would've been hurt. I argued with him and he still doesn't want to give it back. He says he owns it and that I can only use it on the weekends. He didn't even put a dollar into it and he claims he owns it (however my mom payed whatever I couldn't pay for the PS4). He's abusive. He even confiscates the stuff my mom buys. Like her $100 Apple TV and her phone (which he broke in half during drunk anger). Hes planning on selling my $317 ipod I bought to buy himself the iphone 6. So is he legally able to do any of this?
