Basically i tried to update to ios8 it extracts the software for nearly 1 hour and then at the end it says the iphone could not be restored. The device can't be found.

I just updated to iOS 8 on my iphone 5s and i saw that bing web results and spotlight results are not ticked. (Settings > general > spotlight search ) I selected them and they din't work. I went again to settiings and saw they have been deselected again. And this keeps on going.
