My dad bought me an iPhone and when I went to radio shack they said it was a sprint phone, since I didn't have an account with Sprint they said it would cost 500 dollars to start one. That seems a bit excessive! I just want a service plan for my phone. Why would it cost so much for an account? Can I get around it? I don't mind contract I'll be using the phone for a while.
My blackberry just completely died on my screen won't even turn on. My cousin from France offered to let me use her iphone 4 while she is here for the next month and a bit. Can I just switch my sim card and put it into her iphone? Do I have to tell my carrier (telus)? Is there any other options?
Let's just say that someone I know, is on juvenile probation. And today they got caught by there parents doing something dumb they should not have been doing and then their parents snitched them out to his/her probation officer. Thankfully his/her probation officer was not at work so they had to leave a voice mail. Now, let's just say this person now wants to go on the run. Because they don't want to go back to jdc. This person also has an iPhone 5s. Would it be safe to bring the phone or do you think that they would be able to track it? -and please, I don't not want/need any lectures about facing your problems or being mature or growing up or any of that dumb ****, just answer the question please
I have an iphone 4 and it won't connect to my home Wi-Fi. I have connected to other Wi-Fi but it has been limited. I connected at a local cafe and was able to play an app game that requires Wi-Fi but wasn't able to use safari. But at home my Wi-Fi won't work i just get the error message Unable to join the network… I have tried everything. Trying to connect while on areoplane mode, reset my router and modem, changing my mac address, resetting connection settings on my iphone. Nothing works it's so frustrating. I have ios 6.1.3 on my phone. I can't upgrade due to lack of space on my phone it is over a gig to upgrade and i only have a 8 gb phone. If you have any ideas on how to fix this i would really appreciate it.
Today my iMsg stopped working, and only works messages being sent to emails (ex. 1234@gmail.com as the imsg receiver). I haven't run out of data, and my Wi-Fi works because I'm able to access the internet on my apps. I've shut my phone on and off a few times and it still doesn't work

I have a VW Golf, and inside it doesn't have a USB port connected to the stereo. The only thing it has that I can plug stuff into is an adapter thing (I think a lighter would usually be there, but it just has a lid you pop open and plug stuff into) that says "V12" (I have no clue what that means)-- which I plug my GPS and phone charger into. I'm not a car person, I don't understand anything relating to care other than how to go to point A to B.
Can I put anything into the plug that says "V12" to play music through the car stereo? Is there a Bluetooth I can plug into it or something that I can connect my iPhone 5 to? My phone charger has a USB connector in it, can I plug a USB into it to play music?
Like I said before, I have no idea about anything car related, the only way I found out about the adapter thing to put my GPS and charger to is by sheer luck, and the fact that the thing I bought fit in it.
