Should I switch from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5?

I have the iPhone 4S right now and I've had its since June of last year. My battery goes down too quickly and I have to restart my phone over and over because of how somethings on the phone is working. Do you think I should get a new battery for my 4S or switch to the 5. Sprint currently has the 5 in my area. If I get the iPhone 5, I'm planning to keep it for 2/3+ years. I was saying iPhone 5 because is might cost less than the iPhone 5S/5C because it came out first.

Hey so I already have a verizon iPhone 5 but I was recently taken off of my parents plan. So I still have my phone, just no plan or data. I want to activate a new line today but i do not have an id or credit. I'm 19 but no Id for personal reasons and I don't have credit and I don't want to pay a big fee. IPhone 5 - Technical difficulty (software update)?

I have an iPhone 5 and it was telling me I need a software update, so I began the update last night but my phone has frozen! It's just a plain black screen with the Apple logo in the middle of it, and the loading bar below it. It's been frozen like this for 15 hours.

I thought I'd just unplug it and allow it to die, but it's taking so long! I held down on the 'off' button for a whole minute and it wouldn't turn off, and I don't know what else I can do!
