My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo.
Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
I can't send texts. It just says "sending…" forever. Once in a while, one will go through, but I usually have to cut off my phone, cut it back on, and resend it. A few minutes later, it resumes not sending texts. Have to restart the process. It says "searching" where the carrier name appears randomly. My service is fine. Other people around me have my carrier (Verizon) and have no issues.
Whenever I try to pull up Safari, going to Google for example, it pulls it up, and after I type the first letter it freezes. Then it flashes the keyboard over and over again for a few minutes, and eventually shuts itself off.
Every app I have is running very, very slow and acting glitchy. I only have a few apps:
YouTube
Twitter
Tumblr
Instagram
The Weather Channel
And I've had all of these since the day I got my iPhone. They've never caused any issues. As a matter of fact, the only one I really use is Twitter. I rarely open the others.
What's wrong with my iPhone 5 and how do I fix it?
Whenever I set up new reminders on my iPhone and click the "i" button on the right and add a date and time, the date and time disappears when I'm done. How do I fix this?
I currently have a blackberry q5 and I receive 1000mb / 1gb of data per month as part of my contact, but I hate my phone, and as I have another year left of my contract I thought I'd buy a cheap second hand iphone 5 of hunters or something, and but my SIM into it so it would be the same contract, but I wondered if 1 gb of data per month would be enough because I hear that iPhones use up a lot of data
What I mean is: list all the ways to check that your iphone is not jailbroken in case someone had physical access to your iphone, jailbroken it and then installed a spy software that can also hide the cydia app.
Added (1). yeah I lent my non-jailbroken iphone to someone for a day. I got it back and then had a conversation with a friend with my iphone next to me and then I saw my conversation on twitter. So I think the person I lent my iphone to may have jailbroke my iphone and then installed a spy software (which records and relays sounds) that can hide the cydia app.
Please Help ME! I'm DESPERATE. I want to know if it's my friend who put the conversation on twitter or is it because my iphone is hacked.
I got the original charger that comes with the phone last November and it stopped working last month, I plugged it in my iPhone and it kept vibrating and then it suddenly stopped working. So I went to the T-Mobile store and they gave me a new one it was $30, and it stopped working just now after a month, I would have to move the cord to make it charge and it just stopped working. Somebody please help I don't want to be upsetting my parents to keep buying me a cord or a charger.
I'm aware that you can restrict adult sites and disable the option to clear history with safari. When changing those settings, does that put any limitations when using google chrome and if not there a way to do that?
So I poked a hole in my iphone 4s battery and white smoke came out while this happened the phone was off I was wondering would it be safe to turn it on or even charge it and please don't put insulting answers thank you.
I went to sleep with my phone on 80% battery and woke up to my phone still lit from notifications. I thought it was perfectly normal coincidence until I saw my battery percentage was at 3%. Then I realized the notifications that was given me was not recent at all.
I searched this up over the internet and read that if you change your auto lock to 2 minutes and back to 1 minute it will change it back. Didn't work.
Now whenever I get a notification, the screen stays lit and I have to manually turn it off.
I'm running the most recent iOS 7 update and I have an iPhone 5s.
