Iphone 5 partially fell in water?

So yesterday i was using my iphone in bed. I put it beside me and went to sleep. When i woke up, i found out that my iphone had fallen into a cup that had a little bit of water. The top part of the the iphone was in water for an unknown about of time. The phone was wet from the ear speaker and up. However it won't turn on. I have put it in a container of rice. How long am i supposed to leave it there? And also, if that doesn't work, is there any other way i can fix the iphone?

How much could i get out of an iphone 4s?

I just recently purchased an Iphone 4s, black, for straight talk. I've had it for less than a week, and I'd like to purchase a Iphone 5 on straight talk. This phone is a CDMA, means it runs off of Verizon towers. Has no cracks or nothing, perfectly in brand new shape. I have the box and papers on it. I also purchased a 2 year damage warranty on it, for everyday drops and damages. So how much do you think i could get out of this?

Using US iphone in Thailand?

I apologize if this is rather complicated-

I'll be volunteering in Thailand somewhere that requires a phone and has no internet access. So I'm trying to figure out what would be the best option.

I have an iphone 5c that is currently on contract with sprint, and I'll be going to Thailand while it is still on contract. Is there anyway to use this phone with a SIM card while in Thailand without messing anything up?

If not, I also have an old iphone 4s that is in rather terrible shape (cracked screen, horrid battery), but it is not on contract- would it be cost effective to get the screen/battery fixed/jailbroken/sim card inserted?

Or are there phones already in Thailand/that I could buy now that are less expensive/easier than all of this?

I'm working on a tube amp project. Does this make sense?

So I'm trying to make a tube amp gramophone. Very cheap though. So i bought an iPhone dock and a tube preamp and speakers. Is that it? Or do I need an actual amp? Because don't mp3 players have amp built in? Or are they like guitars? I'm very new to all of this

Instagram won't let me follow people?

Just recently my instagram (champagnegoddess_) won't let me follow anybody at all. I know i haven't gone over the follow limit. I also know I haven't been doing any "suspicious Activity". When they won't let you follow anybody it usually shows a message when you try to follow somebody but it doesn't. I jus click the follow button on my phone and it doesn't do anyting. I've restarted my phone, rest the app, deleted the app and logged back in. Could it be that I have an older version of the iphone(Iphone 4). Has anyone else been experiencing the same issues. I also just updated to the new version they had yesterday.

Stranger used my iPhone, can anything bad happen?

I was sitting in my car in a crowded and busy parking lot in daylight with my window open. A car pulled up in the space next to me. A shady-looking man came out of the car and clumsily stuttered about using my cell phone to check Facebook for an emergency (his friend was suicidal apparently). Unfortunately I'm a very passive person and let him use my phone. At first he checked his Facebook and tried dialing a phone number he got in a Facebook messege only to find that it was disconnected. I thought he would be done after that but he continued to use my phone. It looked like he was typing things or texting and every few seconds he would comment about auto-correct or something similar. It just sounded and looked fishy. I got my phone back and everything appears normal and fine but I'm wondering if he could have done anything to my phone or gotten any information or what-have-you from it. Can anyone enlighten me?

How to get nail polish off the back of a iPhone?

My friend decided to be stupid and paint pink nail polish on the back of my iPhone! I tried getting it off with rubbing alcohol and didn't work. Some people say to use nail polish remover but I don't know if that will completely work or ruin the glass on my phone.

Is there another app that is like find my iphone but works if a device isn't connected?

So today I was at the store, and I miss placed my iPod touch 5. We asked customer service if someone handed it in, but sadly nobody found it. So we searched the store and still couldn't find it. We left our name and number in case they found it, but still I think some one stole it. I downloaded the app "find my iPhone" on my iPad, and tried to locate it, but it wan not "connected" (didn't have internet [I think]) so they couldn't tell where it was. I but it on lockdown or whatever (using the app), but I'm still upset. Is there any other app or website that can help me locate it, even if it is dead and/or not connected to the internet.
