Owner of company avoiding eye conatact?
I work for a construction and maintenance company in the IT department. It took them 2 years to find someone that could maintain this position (at 18$ an hour). It's a private owned company with about 5000 employees. I've been here for 10 months, boss lady says she's heard nothing but good things, never had anything negative happen (so far). About once a month, I'll see the owner walking through the hallway (multi-millionaire). Every time we make eye contact, at most half a second, he looks away (I feel like I intimidate him somehow?), I say "Mr. <last name>", he says "Hey buddy".
Background: This guy has 3 assistants, , one of them is in the cubicle next to me and we get along very well (buy each other lunches, ect.) She goes on cruises with him and about once a month, he'll come to her desk and talk to her for about 30 mins just about her personal life. She told me about 2 occasions that happened where I come up, and she said she likes me and I'm "smart". After that, his other assistant called me to his office to transfer all of his iPhone 4 data to his iPhone 5. Spur of the moment, it didn't work. Did research, you have to do it via iCloud. The second time I went in his office to do it, he made smartass comments (this is the one that <name(referring to me)> can't figure out). I told him iCloud is the best way to do this, he said "Well why is that <name>? I said "Because I did 2 hours of research, and that's what it said". He didn't t say anything.
Any advice please!
