My earbuds sound only comes out of one side. I tried adjusting the left and right volume thing. Its in the middle and when i press the cord in it works but when i let go it doesn't. What can i do? I broke the phone and the screens all cracked… But it was doing this before that.

I've had my iPhone 4s since it was released. Since then, I have damaged it severely to the point where it won't even come on. I paid for the warranty, but I never used it. My question: being that I purchased it when it was first released can I go ahead and get my upgrade to the iPhone 5s? Or would I need to pay full price for it? Would they still take it even if it's damaged? I've never upgraded a phone before. Also, if I did this, could I be able to do so when/if the 6 is released?
My mum works at a school and, of course, they collect phones over the years that have been lost and never picked up. It's been a while, so they're going to throw away the ones from students they know will have graduated already/phones that are broken. However, they gave a bag of them to my mum to look through and check, and there was a iPhone in there.
We don't actually have a phone plan that would allow us to even use an iPhone, but we were wondering: would she be able to use it as an iPod or something? Not a phone, not a text messenger, not for the Internet, but just for music or pictures or videos or whatever? Again, nothing AT All about it being a phone, but just a media device?
Bigger question, is that even legal? Can she just keep it, or should she let her school chuck it? I tried to look this up, but the answers weren't satisfactory.
So, can she keep the iPhone as a media device (NOT a phone), is it legal, or should we just have the school toss it all?
The only reason I'm asking is because my brother made the comment that they could track the phone if we turned it on, and I still can't tell if he's teasing or being serious, and I don't want to accidentally get us in trouble.
My birthday is coming up, and I have the option to either get Bose around-ears or the iPhone 5c. The Bose are $170 at my target, and I have $25 off gift card. I also have roughly a hundred dollars saved up. I DO have headphones at the moment, but they're heavy, old, and the sound quality isn't amazing, and the left side doesn't work unless I put it in at a certain angle.
On the other hand, I have a phone that's turning 3. It worked fine until about a month ago. It's a touch screen, but sometimes it won't respond to whenever I try to swipe the screen and stuff like that.

I have an iPhone 5 and it is iOS 8 Beta (kind of). How do I have it? I don't know! My older brother did all this. He used my phone as a test subject to make sure that his phone doesn't get an error. Now that my phone is done for, I'm not letting him touch it ever again!
I have an activation error saying that I'm not within the Apple developer program. I've been looking up instructions on how to restore it back to iOS 7. Most of the instructions say that I have to use the lock button and the home button at the same time and put my phone in 'recovery mode'.
Why didn't I do this? Well… My lock button is broken. I've been using gestures (That square looking thing that is on your iPhone screen to help you press buttons). So in other words, I can't get it back to iOS 7.
I bet some of you are gonna ask me to take my iPhone to an Apple store. Yes I would do that. But would they care, if I had iOS 8 on my phone and I'm not an Apple developer. Are they gonna call the cops on me or something, confiscate my phone or call the SWAT forces. This is the type of situation that I'm in.

I was with att for a while but I'm sick of all of their fees and all this ridiculous nonsense they keep charging me extra for. I went to t mobile for their I carrier program, and I signed up and had my number ported over. What I was trying to do was sign over and continue using my same phone with my same number. So anyway, I had it all done and the guy told me to just wait and I'd get a text saying welcome to t mobile blah blah blah. I couldn't even activate my phone BECASE it's still locked I att! I called them and they refused to unlock it until I pay them $300 for the past two months. I have no intention of paying that bs. So I heard there are company's that can unlock your phone for a price, but if I can I really want to just do it myself at home. And no I'm not cheap, I'm just really broke. What ways can I unlock my phone from my carrier?!
Ok so a spoof card changes the number that appears on someone's caller id. Will a spoof card work for an iphone's facetime? I'd just like to get your opinion before i invest in an iphone? Also, if you use a spoof card, there's no way of tracing you, right?
