How to get my iphone4 to show up in itunes?

About a week ago my iphone started to turn off randomly so i decided tto plug it into my computer to restore it but every time i do it doesn't show up in itunes. It will charge and open the itunes app on my computer but it won't show up under devices in itunes it also doesn't show up under "my computer"

How to back up my iphone but not back up my messages?

Every time I try to delete my messages on my iPhone 4s, even if it's just a few, all my messages will be erased. Then the messaging app won't work until I turn it off and back on but then all my messages are back! I need to delete my messages somehow and the guy at the Apple store said the only way to delete my messages now is to restore my phone. I do not want to lose my contacts, as I have very many, and I also don't want to lose my apps and/or my pictures. Does anybody know how to get rid of these messages but still allow me to have my contacts and pictures and apps?

Added (1). I'm not stupid, please do not tell me to just swipe and delete my messages. I'm aware how one would normally delete a message but if you actually read the additional details I explain that that just simply is not working.

How to successfully jailbreak ios 7.1 in iphone 4?

Unfortunately i updated my iphone 4 from ios 7.0.4 to ios 7.1, two months ago before updating i successfully jailbroked my iphone and i love to used that jailbreaked iphone, but now after updating it to ios 7.1 it almost becomes impossible to jailbreak it and i'm dying to successfully jailbreak it and use many cydia apps like airblue sharing.

How to use my iphone in Singapore without extra charges?

So I live in America and am planning on visiting Singapore this summer. I have an iphone 5 and I was wondering if there was some way to just use the phone for taking pictures/using Whatsapp/Snapchat while I'm over there without being charged by my carrier. I won't be using my phone data but probably just wi-fi. But if someone calls/texts me will it still charge me for it?

Also strange things happens with my house. Sometimes All LIGHTS turn off. We had the manger come in and look and he says everything is fine. But sometimes the lights just All turn off.

Will Apple replace my IPhone 5s? - 2

My iPhone 5s had horrible battery life. Apple says it will last 10 hours browsing web on cellular but I only get 2 hours before the battery dies. Will apple replace my iPhone? It is still under warranty for 6 months. Don't just say the iphone sucks. Don't post anything if it is not helpful.
