Does my iPhone require internet to play itunes?

I have an iPhone 5 and love listening to music. But before I spend money on iTunes, I was wondering, do I need internet to listen to my songs on iTunes when I'm on the go without a signal on my phone?

So I have this iphone 4 without services… And I have Wi-Fi at home. But when I go out… I have no way to communicate with friends or somebody or get on facebook… So I want to know what app lets you get your on Wi-Fi (like personal Wi-Fi) on a app and I can use it.

IMessage functionality on an iPhone?

Is it true when you are texting via iMessage in the person you are texting is typing You see a quotation bubble with 3 dots in it? If that is true and they are truly replying to only your message why are you not getting their text? I I'm guessing that they could be in the iMessage of another recipient and replying and you're getting that same quotation bubble with the three dots?
I really need to know the possibility of the multiple texting in this particular arena if anyone has Apple knowledge from a reliable source please?

Why can I only connect to Wi-Fi when I'm in one specific room?

I have the iPhone 4 iOS 7.0.4. I've bought it used through somebody. But ever since I bought it I was only able to connect to Wi-Fi in one room in my house which is the room my Wi-Fi is set up in. If I go into any other room it will slowly get weaker signal and disconnect itself from the Wi-Fi. But everyone one else in my house is able to connect to the same Wi-Fi all throughout the house. I've tried resetting it but it didn't do anything.

My sister bought here on straight talk, and I'm wanting mine on there. It's currently not in any service so it's like an ipod, but it's been with Verizon. How can I get straight talk for it?

I have searched and searched for an actual usable hack that you can download from Cydia or similar and use via file or downloads lite. So that I can get some Gems without the hassle of going through tunnel bear and playing with the VPN settings, so my question is… Are there any?

I do not want to download anything to my mac and have to plug my phone in and hope it actually does work (because 99% of the time it never ever will!)
