Ok, so I have a 4s running 6.1.3. I've been recently trying to jailbreak it using this P0sixspwn, but it doesn't work! So I've been reading online, and I found out that P0sixspwn is really a tool that is for tethered jailbreaks on 6.1.3. Well how we're people getting tethered jailbreaks on 6.1.3?! It's driving me nuts! If anyone can give me insight to what's going on it would be appreciated… Cuz I'm thinking I can jailbreak now, while other sites are saying basically that the "jailbreak" skipped over 6.1.3 to avoid wasting exploits! So if anyone has a iPhone 4S 6.1.3 and its jailbroken, let me know the big secret please… SHEESH.
I had a defective 5s that I bought a week after they came out, the phone died very fast, I visited the Genius Bar twice and the second time he gave me a "new" phone, although it came in a refurbished looking box, not an original new iphone box. It looked new and had a screen protector on the front and back as if it was new, but now that I've had this one for a week I'm questioning that the battery is also bad. Apple acknowledged having a batch of bad iphone 5s; but I don't know if this new (might be refurbished) phone has the same defect.
And please, don't answer by telling me to turn off all of the features that make a smartphone a smartphone, my iphone 4 lasted for an entire day with everything running. (Doesn't really matter because for the last week I've been using my phone with location services off, low brightness, etc.
Thanks in advance!
Added (1). The link is supposed to be a picture it shows that my battery shows 36% yet the about information shows Time Since Last Full Charge:
Usage: 2 hours, 2 minutes.
Standby: 7 hours, 51 minutes.
Added (2). As an update, now (3 hours late than the above) the battery is at 9% and my time says:
Usage: 2 hours, 45 minutes
Standby: 11 hours, 8 minutes
My iphone screen cracked and i had to send the phone away to fix it (not Apple). I forgot to remove the sim card before sending it away (if the people want to use the money or data or something from my sim card, you know people these days). Before i sent the phone away I had 26MB data left. After i got the phone back it still had 26MB of data. But 3 days afterwards i got a message from my carrier stating that all my data and airtime have been depleted, even though i did not use any because my cellular is permanently turned OFF because i only use Wi-Fi. I never call or send messages. Now everything is gone! When my phone was sent away i put a passcode lock on but of course they could only put the simcard in a different phone. I doubt that the people got anything to do with this because i don't know how they couldve done it. What is a easy explanation for all of this? Today i bought another 30MB data to use at school the next day but it is disappearing also. Cellular is turned OFF always
I suspended my account because I"m going overseas in a couple of weeks. However, in order to go overseas and use the SIM slot (I have an iphone 4s which apparently I guess have cdma capability in the US and GSM overseas thus the SIM slot), I got it unlocked by the Verizon wireless team. Does that mean that I can technically pop in any GSM SIM card here too in the States? I was thinking maybe when I get back, since it's unlocked, I might try to put in a discount carrier's SIM card and see how I like it, since I"m on month by month with Verizon now, and if it works well, just cancel the Verizon's wireless account, since I"ll still be on suspension then. Does anyone know if this will work? If it makes a difference, I bought the iphone at the apple store.
Last night, the colors on my iPhone inverted by themselves and wouldn't go back to normal. Now the colors look washed out.
Then, I woke up to a block of light and color covering most of my screen. I can only see an inch of my actual screen and can't use the phone. I have an iPhone 4s and can't upgrade until February.
Do I still have to pay for activation?
So I have an iPhone 4 from AT&T but I switched it over to Metro PCS, when I switched it over they put in a Metro SIM Card and gave me a T-Mobile SIM Card to keep; Yesterday at work I cracked my iPhone and now i can't call only text, so I want to buy a new phone 60$, If I have a SIM card(s) can they just switch my account over to the new phone with out charging for activation? Or what will happen?
I gave my iphone to my sister to play on minecraft but she, for some reason, made the d pad size so big I can't change it because it's covering the button to change it, If I delete the app, I'll have to pay 4.99 for it again and all my worlds that i've created will be gone.
Is it illegal to stream movies on movie box on my iPhone not actually downloading movies but just downloading the software that let's me download and stream movies I would only stream the movies and NOT download them
If you don't know what movie box is it's basically a application from cydia that let's you stream and download movies
The cable for the iPhone 5s that I bought recently stopped working (I can see where the break is). Can I just show up at an apple store and exchange it for a working one?
I didn't buy it at an Apple store, but at an AT&T store online and don't want the hassle of having to send it back and then wait for replacement.
