My grandad, aged 79, who just about knows about where the on button on a laptop is, is looking for a device where he can access emails. He has issues typing on my iPhone, and has reading glasses. What would be good for him?

I have a black iphone4s but the problem is that my lil baby brother drop my iphone 4s in the toilet it stay there for 2 seconds but the good thing is that my iPhone 4s haded is cover on but when i pick it up from the toilet but mistake i turn it on but i turn it off i quickly dry it out with a towel and i turn it on it still works good but the problem is that i can't hear any sound from my iphone i could still take pictures and stuff is that i can't hear nothing? So i put my iPhone in a bag of rice so how long would it take my phone to work?
Added (1). by the way when i try to watch a video or play music i can't hear nothing I put the volume on it still doesn't work but i using it of a little while to listen to music it works but it only works with my earphones that's it! But when i take it out it still doesn't work? So i don't know what to do?
I took a 30ish second video on my iPhone and the entire thing is blurry. The phone was completely stationary the whole time but for some reason the entire video came out at like one level of blurriness. Is there a way or app/program that I could get rid of this or at least make it look less blurred?

The phone that i'm using is the iphone 4s, I wanted to buy the iphone 5S (the phone itself), get a new sim and stay on my contract. I know that they two iphones don't use the same sim. So after i buy the iphone 5S and the sim what do i do next? Do i just have to activate it? Do i put the sim in myself? My carrier said they wouldn't put the sim in for me because i didn't buy it from the store.
I bought this iPhone 4 on the street and I followed YouTube videos on how to break the passcode since I didn't get one. After following instructions the phone starts off as factory mode but doesn't want to connect to my Wi-Fi to do the process and when I try to connect it to iTunes it asks for the iTunes ID password from the last owner. How do I totally hard reset this phone?
I got my Iphone 5s super wet deep sea fishing. It's been in a bag of rice for 5 days and still won't turn on, but when I charge it, it either vibrates or makes a "ding" sound.

I have an iPhone 4 that isn't activated, and would like to have a data plan that is really cheap. It doesn't have to have calling or texting(I can use apps for that). What is a cheap plan like max 25-30 dollars a month. Also I live in Colorado if that makes a difference.
