Which Carrier is better? Page Plus or Ting?

I just started with ting and the service sucks. I'm going to buy an iPhone, and not sure whether to switch to Pageplus and get better service (through Verizon's network).Ting is through Sprint's network, and it is not prepaid. It is also a bit more expensive. I know the obvious answer is Page Plus, but does anyone have experience with either or both of these services.

Also, does Page Plus allow you to bring old iPhone or iPhone 4s from verizon?

How to unlock my iPhone 4 from Verizon or sprint?

I just got an iPhone 4 or 4s off my friend for free but I noticed the phone doesn't have a SIM card slot on the side of the phone, I Read that it's carrier is locked to only work for sprint or Verizon cause they don't use SIM cards. So how do I unlock this phone from home instead of going to t mobile to unlock it?

Is it still worth buying the iPhone 4s?

I'm due for an upgrade in January. I want an iPhone somewhat, but my parents will only let me get a free or really inexpensive phone (like maybe $20) but I also know it's pretty old and iOS 7 won't run too smoothly on it. My other option is a Galaxy S3 or 4 depending on its price in another month. Is it even worth getting the 4s? The screen is a lot smaller, but there's FaceTime, Emoji, iMessage, and all that Apple stuff. I've never had an Apple item before and I want to try it. If I don't like it as much as Samsungs I've had, I won't be too disappointed since iPhones are top of the line too.

T-Mobile SIM card in iPhone?

I currently have a prepaid T-Mobile plan for $15/month. If I buy an unlocked iPhone, will I be able to insert the SIM card into the iPhone and keep the prepaid plan that I'm currently using but with the iPhone?

Will the gba4ios GameBoy Emu void my Apple Warranty on my iPhone? - 1

I've tried to do some research on this, but there doesn't seem to be many answers. I want to download the GameBoy emulator titled gba4ios to my iPhone. I'm currently running iOS 7.4 on my iPhone 4S. My problem is that it's only 3 months old, and I have 9 months left of my factory Apple Warranty; I would really not like to void it in case I ever have a software issue. I heard the emulator is quite trustworthy and reliable, but I'd rather leave it be than void my warranty. The only piece of information I seem to have found useful was an old Apple Genius stating that the software we use on our device is our business, and that it won't void it; however, if they suspect the 3rd party software caused the issue, they have the right deny the request to service the device. I don't want to take that as concrete evidence, though. Can anybody tell me for sure that it will/will not harm my warranty? And if possible, point me to some hard evidence?

Beats by Dre Solo Crackling Sound?

So today just happens to be my birthday, and last Saturday I got brand new beats Solos as a gift. Today I was just listening to some of my videos I recorded on my iPhone 4S and I noticed a slight crackling sound in the right ear cup. I'm extremely OCD about something like that happening to something THAT expensive. I haven't noticed any crackling while I play my iTunes music though. I tried on my apple earplugs and I didn't hear the type of crackling that it seemed my homemade videos were causing. Is it the type of video that is screwing up the sound on my solos? Or is there a bigger issue behind all of this regarding the beats?
