My cousin gave me his used iphone 3, it still had some of hir data. It is also jailbroken. I wanted to delete them, so I have gone to settings>general>reset>erase all data ang settings.
After I confirmed that I wanted to erase all data and settings, it is stuck on the loading cirle. It does not connect to itunes too, and the sleep/wake botton is broken so I can't force restart it. What should I do?
Need ideas!

Just upgraded from the 3GS to the 5S and yesterday I noticed my imessage wasn't working. I know for a fact who in my contacts has it so it should come up blue, but it's not. Never had this issue on my old phone. It would recognized it almost immediately. This is what I did. When I got the new phone I DID NOT set up as a new device. I did the "restore from last phone" option. When I go into settings>messages it is turned on. The SMS option is turned off. When I go into send and receive only my number is show with a check mark next too it. So it should be working, no?
CYDIA iOS 5.0.1 Help?
Can anyone please help me with updating my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.0.1) to a newer version of iOS 6 or even 7?
My phone is jailbroken and I don't have a PC.
Since it is jailbroken I can't just do the regular update in general settings for those who are going to suggest that.

Just got an iphone 5 and put an o2 nano SIM card in and when setting up it displays this message;
SIM Not Valid
'The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.'
