How do you delete a contact on the new iPhone 5C

So I got the new iPhone 5C today, and for some reason, both my facebook and iCloud just linked all my friends' contacts to my phone's contacts, and I have no idea how to delete them. I clicked edit on the person in the contacts, scrolled down to unlink and delete contact, and clicked "done" but when I went back, the contact was still there. HOW DO I DO THIS!

Can heat damage my iphone 5?

So i left my iPhone 5 in my sister's bathroom, but by the time i came back to get it my little nephew was using a hair dryer to dry the phone, moving the dryer around the charging port area and up and down the screen. I asked if he dropped it in water, he said no, and there was no sign of water on the phone. So apparently he was just playing with it, but i don't know how long he had been blow drying the phone, and i'm worried if that might have caused any damage to the phone, though the phone looks fine for now.

Why is the war in Afghanistan so neglected in the media?

To me it's strange how the war in Afghanistan gets nearly no coverage on major US news outlets. I look back to the Vietnam War - known colloquially as "The Living Room War" and wonder why the media and American public seem to have no concern about the war in Afghanistan, how it's being managed, troop levels, major campaigns (like the Tet Offensive in Vietnam) or casualties. Also, among the American public there seems to be little recognition even of the fact that the US is engaged in a war. The comparisons to public perceptions of wars past are strange (e.g. "victory gardens" in WWII and the antiwar movement during Vietnam). If you didn't know better, you'd think Americans were an ignorant people exclusively concerned with trivial things like the next Iphone and overblown court cases. In my opinion, the lack of media coverage and the lack of public concern/consciousness of the war and its effects is disturbing. Why do you think this is the case?

How rare IS the Gold 5S right now?

So on September 20, I rushed home from school to find that all the Gold iPhone 5Ss were backordered until October. I researched and realized it was all over the news and the huge supply problem and everything. My dad placed my phone on order that evening through T-Mobile but I knew it'd be a long time before I got it. On Monday, he found out there had been a charging issue and we had to reorder the phone, so I was sadly positive it wouldn't come until like November: D

It came yesterday and I'm so happy! I didn't think much of it until I got on the news again and found out there's STILL a supply problem? I didn't order it ahead of most people I don't think, because of the Monday delay. Yet I'm right here with a 64GB Gold iPhone 5S, apparently the hardest to find one of them all.

Haha this definitely makes me feel special in a way, but also I'm just confused and very interested in what's going on! How big is the supply problem still? I've noticed I've seen no gold 5Ss about and except in the Apple Store all other network shops, etc are out of them and only have space grey or silver. Honestly yeah, just explain this to me?
