Crutchfield car audio set up?

I'm getting my license soon and i'm looking forward to replacing the current sound system in the car i'm getting. The car I'm getting is the 2001 lincoln ls without the alpine audio system. One of the weird things about it is that there's a cd changer, but it's in the glove compartment. How will this be affected with an aftermarket head unit.

These are the parts i'm looking at currently (I have a decently low budget and i'm looking to get a subwoofer, component speakers, a new head unit that has usb and bluetooth, and a pretty low power amp. I'm not looking for top of line parts that go above and beyond, but i don't want something that will break instantly.)

I'm pretty sure i was looking at an older version of this and this was released not too long ago, (btw i have an iphone 5 and this head unit has some new siri features i guess so it works out). Also, before i knew i was getting this car i was limited to a single din receiver, but now i don't have that restriction. If i were to get a double din it would be this one which is pretty much the double din equivalent of the older model i was looking at

i do seem to like the appeal pioneer has so i'm looking at those currently but if there's something better for the price or anything i don't have a problem changing that. ( someone had told me though that because pioneers have a 5 band equalizer it can make it sound bad, opposed to a 3 band, but i'm not too sure about this)

component speakers:

i don't know all that much about the component speaker selection so i just chose a fairly cheap pioneer set with a good rating, does anybody know if these are good?

subwoofer:

so far i'm liking the look of this sub its cheap, fairly powerful ( for my car i probably don't even need this much)

amplifier:
i'm not sure which one is best to get for this subwoofer

i will probably get shunned for choosing such low price amps but this is what i'm looking at and i would like to know which one is best for me.

are these parts good? What would you guys recommend? I'm open to suggestions.

also my last question is, who should i have install it? Should i figure it out myself ( i have never done this but my father is somewhat familiar with what to do and he will help me if i choose to do it). Or should i pay a company to install everything? I guess my last option would be to pay a friend who has had plenty of experience with car audio, one problem with that is if something goes wrong with the installation.

How does the Gov't KNOW you are watching TV on your computer or Iphone?

Com. 18 just answered a question of mine, saying one is taxed even if tv shows are watched on the computer or Iphone. How does anyone KNOW you are receiving TV Broadcasts over these appliances. It's not like they can ride around in a truck tracking who has an untaxed Ipad.

I'm confused.

I'm a college student and I need my computer

So I shut down my computer and installed a few updates; everything was working fine prior. Then. My friend and I decide to watch netflix in her room so I grab my HDMI cable and head to her room. When I hooked up my computer, I found out that no programs would open: Microsoft Office, iTunes, Flixter, Google Chrome, etc. Frustrated, I finally opt to do a system restore to a point of about a week ago. Everything was fine! Then, I boot up my computer again later (I'm running Windows 7 by the way) and I'm getting error messages from iTunes saying "The iTunes Library Extras.itdb file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have permission for this file." Also, Microsoft Word 2013 gives me an error saying: "Word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable." Not only that, Sky Drive always stops responding when I try to log in. Internet Explorer won't even open to my home page; it also won't let me even touch the settings in IE. Although Google Chrome works just fine (hooray for Google!) and I can pass through my Microsoft Word to actually create a document, this is really bothersome because I can't upload my notes, assignments, etc. To Sky Drive, which would allow me to practically study anywhere I have unexpected free time. In order to sync my iPhone, I actually have to right click my iTunes shortcut and click run as administer to even open iTunes. I don't think this is a virus or malware because I've ran malwarebytes, Symantec, Avast! And Microsoft Security Essentials, and they've found nothing. Some help would be greatly appreciated from a university student!

Virgin Mobile Pros and Cons?

I'm due for a phone upgrade and am a current Verizon customer. In looking at my use vs my monthly cost, I got disgusted and started considering Virgin Mobile. Buying a new iPhone5S and then paying my same contract price for 2 years through Verizon is $2400. Through Virgin where you pay for the phone at full price and then have a lower monthly payment, the 2 year price is around $1400 for a similar plan. This seems almost too good to be true? What are the downsides to Virgin Mobile?
