I got the iPhone 5 like 4 days ago and I use it ALOT like its in my hand the entire day and I'm trying to make the battery last so I do all the battery saving stuff but it seems to run out pretty fast or am I just using it too much I charged it 11 times from when I got it and again I use it all the time always in my hand.
Thanks.
Added (1). I do close all the apps by pressing the home button twice but it doesn't seem to help
Ok, so I just got a new laptop, and when I connect my iPhone to it, all that comes up in iTunes are the songs I have actually bought, not the ones I've gotten off CDs. I don't know why that is, as they were all on my iTunes account on my previous laptop and I would like to find some way to get them back there (I can't just put the cd in again as there isn't a cd drive in this laptop) in case my phone crashes. Any ideas?
Also, I downloaded some music tonight and it's on my iTunes and all, but when I try and sync it, it doesn't come up on my phone. How would I fix that?
I'm going to surrender studing kanji in the way I've done 'till now.
The other day I started from 0 to learning kanji again.
After reach 20 or 30 kanji, even using space-repetition's software in my iphone,
I keep to forget the (expecially) on -reading.
I remember the kun reading more easily, maybe because is more easy.
on reading have often the same sound or are brief words that sound all similar to me, jo, sho, etc… So I really forget it or they confuse me.
I never had a good memory, so, it's really really hard for me to study languages…
When I say I have a 'bad memory', I mean Really a BAD memory.
I can forget even one word that I learned 5 minutes ago, repeated for months, and YET to keep to forget that word/On reading.
After YEARS, I'm really giving up studing and forcing to remember what I'll forget after few times.
I could learn with much efforts to remember 100-200 kanji… But you can be sure, after I'll stop to do space-repetition's review, I'll forget again and again.
So. I decided to change the way I'm learning words.
We used to learn Japanese 's kanjis as if they are not 'words' but as many words to remember.
I'm tired of this.
I want to learn the effective word, without thinking the kun-on reading.
For example
if I learn the kanji 'oo(i)' Big, I learn just that this kanji is a word and mean 'big' and is it read 'oo(i).
I will not learn also 'DAI'.
Instead of learning that this word can be read also 'Dai ', I'll learn the other words when it's used and will be read as 'dai', for example to write the word 'daisuki'.In this way, I'll learn the words as they are, not the pronunciations.
But, since I don't have the necessity to become good to read Japanese books or newspapers, it's ok.
I'll learn word after word and I'll memorize that. Surely if I'll find a word that I don't know yet, I'll be not able to read it, (because I'll not study on reading anymore) but I'll took a dictionary and learn that new word and I'll learn that. I'm really tired to learn ON reading.
What do you think? Someone have experiment this?
Added (1). @I was talking about 'don't want to learn the on reading of kanji anymore. Not another space repetition game/software… But I'll take a look…
I want to create games and apps for iPhone. But I couldn't get any help from my friends or anyone. So I'll have to do alone. I know it sound crazy cuz; ill have to do all the Coding, Designing, Audio&Video and so forth.
So is there anyone creating games and apps all alone?
I was wondering because all I ever do is google the problem (always able to and fix computers for family all the time) and can repair computers easily. Is being a computer repair techinician that hard or is it just like what I do for my family? I'm doing this from my iphone sorry for any mess ups or none capitalizations. Just wondering since I want to get a job and I'm currently in college for game design (with some networking already done to)
I got my iphone second hand because I didn't have a lot of money but since i've had it the home button is dead stiff I have to push my thumb really hard to get back to the home screen its driving me crazy I live in the uk and I was wondering how much does it cost to fix it
A couple weeks ago, I dropped my iPhone and the screen turned completely black, after a couple minutes it turned back on and everything was fine. My friend then dropped it again and it turned black once more. I thought it would turn back on again but it just wouldn't. The actual phone was fine, i could check my notifications using Siri, I could unlock the phone by remembering where the unlock bar was it was just the screen. So i went to apple and they told me it was probably something near the LED sensor or something, and they tried fixing it but it did not work.
A couple days ago I realized that it was never black, if I went in the (bright) sunlight I could see the screen (in very low brightness, possibly twice lower than the lowest brightness available)! I tried going in settings and changing the brightness, lower or higher, nothing would change but everything else works. How do I heighten the brightness?
Does it just hang up on the person
I just upgraded from a blackberry to an iphone 5 my phone should be coming soon but since iphone don't take memory cards how am i gonna transfer all my music and pictures from the memory card?
