How to know if my iPhone 4s is factory unlocked?

I Have the iPhone 4s and i currently am using T-Mobile as my plan. My sister gave me the phone and she said the phone was locked and originally from sprint. Which is true. I want to know if it is factory unlocked. I Want to update to the iOS 7 beta 5 because i Don't want to wait for the release. And i'm scared that if I update it the unlock will take off and my phone will not work with my sim card. I Don't have another sim card near me because literally everybody in my house has T-Mobile and everybody else I Know. Is there any other way that I Can find out?

I'm going to a concert tomorrow, and I'm in the 11th row. How do I take good photos? I'm bringing my 16mp camera and 8mp iPhone 4S. Should I zoom in and take the picture or should I take it at regular and then just crop it?

Good Hard Complicated Passcodes?

I need a really hard complicated passcode for my iphone. One that's easy to remember but hard to guess. There's this kid who can always guess them even if there about like my favorite things. Recently he got into my phone and read through my diary. So I need a really good passcode that he can't guess. It can't be anything about me because now that he has read my diary he knows EVERYTHING. Please help and don't say its up to you and stuff because i've been thinking about this for 3 days and still can't figure out a good one.

I'm buying a new phone, and I don't know whether or not I should buy the iPhone 5? I don't have a Mac, only Windows 7. I do have iTunes set on it. But If I buy the iPhone, will my iPad Mini get boring? Should I rather take an Samsung Galaxy S4? Or should I wait for the 5S too come out?
