Google Maps on Iphone 5 (T-Mobile)?

I'm considering purchasing an Iphone 5 from my carrier (T-Mobile). They offer varying data plans (500 MB, 2GB, 4GB, Unlimited). However, I do not plan on surfing the internet or streaming so much on the phone. I mainly want to use the phone for its Google Maps/Directions while I'm out in the city. My main question is, then: Will the maps run quickly enough once I go over the limit of high-speed data for my carrier (i.e.over 500 MB if I choose that plan)? T-Mobile provides unlimited data, but only the amount of high speed data that you pay for (I'm considering the 500 MB as I have said before). What does everyone think? Will the maps work just fine on the slower speeds once I go over the high-speed limit?

Should I buy an iPhone through Verizon?

If I don't have Verizon, but want to switch over to Verizon and buy an iPhone, do I have to pay retail price for the phone or the price with a 2-year contract if I get a 2-year contract? Also, how much is JUST unlimited text and call per month, no unlimited data?

Can you locate an iPhone if location is turned off?

I have an iPhone 4S and the main person on my account put it where they can go on the Internet and see my messages and locate my phone. Can they see if I text from an app and can they find my phone if location is turned off. I need to know all I can about this.

What is YOUR definition of the class system in western societies?

I've been debating this with a friend who thinks he is middle-class but I disagree. In fact, I often meet people who call themselves 'middle-class' but the way I see it, they are just a working-class consumer.

Personally, I've always defined the 3 classes as follows:
LOWER CLASS: Anyone who has an employer who has to go to work each day
MIDDLE CLASS: Small business owners/Entrepreneurs who employ other people
UPPER CLASS: Anyone who doesn't need to earn a wage

I think consumerism and our debt based economy has confused a lot of people about the class they are in. In today's day and age, you could have an iPhone, a new car, and a nice wardrobe and STILL be working-class.

Can mobile carriers detect if you jailbreak a bill pay iPhone 4s?

I'm thinking about jailbreaking my iPhone but have not been able to find out anything on this question. Can carriers detect if you jailbreak your iPhone? I'm on bill pay with eMobile and I'm wondering if they will charge extra money/cancel the contract/take the iPhone back/refuse to fix it if I jailbreak the device. All answers are appreciated

Is Apple's Airport Express my solution?

I need to have a better signal and range in the second floor since my router is in the basement. I mainly need it for my wireless devices iPhones, iPads, iPods. I was watching youtube videos on apple's airport express but mostly of them are connected to a time machine? I don't own that, is that necessary? I'm not quite sure how the airpot express works, can it work with a router? Is it even going to fix the problem i have with my wireless devices going slow because of the distance of the router and the second floor?
does it work with non apple devices like PCs, tablets, androids?

can anyone give me as much info as they can please!

Switching Sim cards from Iphone 5 to Android phone?

Probably a simple question, but I would like some input. I was wondering if I can take the Sim card from my iPhone 5 and use it on an Android or windows phone like the Galaxy 3 or Nokia Lumina? Is this possible and if it is how?

Also I have Verizon and if I can switch to another device I will get a Verizon Phone.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Thank you.

Added (1). I was wondering if a sim adapter would work?

How to retrieve deleted notes on iPhone?

I created an important note and now I went back to email it to someone and it's deleted. I know it was there before I left the Notes app and re opened it the same day and it was there. Now that I went back to email it isn't there. I tried opening up my back ups on iTunes but I can't open them to look for the backed up notes. Any help?

Iphone home button activates siri with single press?

My sound on my iPhone 4s has been broken so this morning I cleaned out the charging dock with rubbing alcohol. Now the home button doesn't work -- when I press it, sometimes nothing happens and sometimes it activates siri even though I only hold it down for the short press. Does anybody know what's going on/how to fix it? I fear it has something to do with the rubbing alcohol. I don't care that much about the sound problem, I just want the home button to work!
