I'm going to be spending next year going to school in Spain and I really want to have a working iPhone. I've heard a lot about people buying unlocked iPhones (my friend told me a place where I could get an unlocked iPhone so that's not a problem) and then getting a Spanish SIM card. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm just really confused and I want to be sure that it would work. I really want an iPhone and not a Spanish phone.
Hi, I'm a fifteen-year-old girl and I was wondering if I was being unreasonable and greedy. When I was thirteen, my mom got me the iPhone 3G that I asked for. It was my only birthday present, but it was perfect and I loved it so much. I had it for eleven days when my mom asked to borrow it. She came home later with the screen cracked. It was falling apart, (chunks were coming out) so she placed a messy strip of packaging tape over it. She told me that it was my fault and that she needed the phone and I was being greedy and selfish. She screamed at me so loud so that the neighbors thought I was irresponsible. I never got my phone back and she still has it to this day. It doesn't work now because she has thrown it down the stairs, dropped it in the toilet and everything else you can imagine, so she's getting herself a new phone. Would it be stupid to ask my mom for a new phone, even that model? I'd offer to help pay, but she won't let me pass our yard, or even answer the house phone. I can't make any money. She's overprotective, I'm not just saying that because I understand rules and restrictions when it comes to being a young teenager. Sorry for making you read all of this, it's a lot, I know. But I needed to ask this.
I've had it for about a month. It's 16GB. Switching over from a 4 year old android to iPhone 5 is a big change, that's why I don't know how to use it. I don't have that many pictures or apps. The apps I do have aren't that cool. And I have NO music. And I love to play around with pictures so any app suggestions that would help me do that would be awesome.
Is my phone broke or is this a normal problem?
I know the Nexus 4 is better, but it's always useful to have an Apple Device, ain't it?
So i just bought a 4S at a Sprint store with a lifeproof case. Somehow water got in it and it won't charge anymore. Now if i want a phone I have to pay $200 for it?! Why? Its not my fault that the Case didn't work. I don't understand what i should do now, cause i'm getting screwed.
So weeks ago I dropped my beautiful iphone 5 onto the concrete. Cracked. I got over it. Continued to use it. So the glass on top of the home button on my phone I notice was loose. Weeks went by and it fell off taking the home button with it. So now I have a cracked phone and no home button. I have been using the assisted help from settings on my phone (home button usage) But I would really like to fix my phone and I need to know the cheapest route. Would I be able to just replace the screen? Would the home button come with that? Would I have to replace the whole phone? Should I go to the apple store? Should I go to some cheap screen replacing place?
I have saved enough money of my own to buy one, which is on a no contract plan. But the problem is it's still alot. I have a cell phone that works perfectly well. If I save my money, I can do so much more things with it. TBH I think deep down the only reason I want the iphone is because it seems like everyone else has it except me. What do you think I should do? Thoughts?
I went out clubbing last night and today we t to play music on my iPhone and no sound comes out. I tried to look at the videos we took and no sound from that either. But when i get a call or text it rings perfectly. And also when i plug my phone into aux or headphones its fine. The sound just won't work for music or videos:-/ its obvious my speaker works because my ringtone plays but why won't music?
I've turned volume up and down, taken it off silent and such. Even double clicked and exited music and reset my phone with the home and lock button. Still nothing. Anyone know how i can fix this?
