I'm hoping to get a job as a Specialist with Apple, and would love if someone (anyone) could help me with my cover letter.
Dear Apple Inc.,
Coming from a background of technical engineers, I was exposed to quality technology at a young age. However, when Apple entered the scene, the standard of "quality" technology skyrocketed. Speaking personally, I have never used a greater piece of technology than Apple products. From the first iPod shuffle to the iPhone 5, there are 5 things that remain constant in your products: ingenuity, intuition, reliability, thought and detail, and sheer creativity - how could I not want to be apart of the team that makes that happen?
For the past 5 years I have studied, learned, and analyzed Apple products on my own. However, the current company I work for(Centripetal Networks, a cyber security) heavily uses Apple products: Apple internet routers, iPhones, iMacs, etc.; and I have therefore become substantially proficient in the functionality of the hardware and software of Apple.
The job of the Specialist is what caught my eye; it requires customer support, as well as technical knowledge, which touches on my passions: customer service, people, and technology. I greatly enjoy working with people; and, when working with them, I continually seek to understand, empathize, and as an essential, be patient with them.
I have worked in sales, customer support, problem analysis, hardware engineering, quality assurance, and Unix, Linux, and Python coding. I greatly enjoy working with people -helping, serving, supporting them- as well as technical analysis and hardware engineering. From organizing storage rooms, designing circuit boards, and creating test equipment, to customer support, technical problem solving, and sales - I have thoroughly experienced and gained invaluable skills in each of those areas.
I hope to have the wonderful opportunity to exercise those skills with Apple Inc., and be an asset to the team that is leading the advance of technology and changing the world.
