Suddenly a few days ago my iPhone sound stopped working and I have no idea why or how to fix it. My telephone loudspeaker doesn't work, my phone doesn't ring, no keyboard clicks and no noises from apps and notifications. The sound works when I have earphones in but not when on speaker. Yes I have the sound on my phone switched on and the ringer volume is at its maximum. The weird thing is that the sound works when I have the charger cable in and put pressure on it. Basically this means to get the sound to work I have to put the charger in and then wrap the cord around my phone so it's tight.
I got my battery replaced recently so thought it would be because of that but unlikely as the sound died a week later.
Any ideas?
Honestly, my family is switching to AT&T because we can't afford t mobile anymore. But I want a smartphone, it doesn't even have to be an iPhone, but you can't do that unless you have the data plan! My family can't pay that much more a month. Is there any way? )
I'm planning on buying an xpeira ion. It has everything that I need. I especially want this model because this is the only phone within my budget that gives a 12 megapixel camera(and I'm very particular about this. I won't settle for anything less than 12).However, I'm very concerned about the processor. A 1.5 ghz dual core sounds decent but I have to consider the fact that it's a relatively old snapdragon s3.So my question: Is this phone, considering how power hungry all new apps are, good enough for the next 3 years? And will all new apps run smoothly? Also, how good is this phone's processing & graphics power when compared to the iphone 5? Thanks a lot in advance!

I recently updated my iPhone to the first ios7 beta even though I'm not a developer. There's a way to skip the step where it checks if you are a developer. If I update to the second beta from my phone, will my phone become disabled? I heard a rumor that this would happen if you werent a developer.

The only way I've found to do this is when the notification box comes up and suggests that you send lives.
Is there a way I can send specific friends lives?
I sold my iphone and bought a £10 Sony Erickson w890i (Coincidentally my first ever phone a few years back) and I rang upo three and asked for a normal sim card. It arrived today and when i put it in this w890i, I just get 'Insert usim'. The phone IS locked to THREE but my sim card is on THREE>
Any ideas?
