I think I totally screwed up my iPhone?

I believe I totally screwed up my iPhone.

Like many, when iOS 7 was announced I went ahead and found a way to update, so I did. It worked perfectly fine, I loved it! But, I decided that I was going to go back to iOS 6. I restored my iPhone manually through the settings. And, when I turned it back on I still obviously had iOS 7, but, I also had this message.

"We're unable to complete your activation.
This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the Program, please register your device in the iPhone Developer Program Portal."

I do not. Have a developer account.

So, I tried connecting to iTunes on my computer, same message.

I would try to DFU reset it, but of course my iPhone home button is broken.

Is there a way to reset my iPhone, and get back to iOS 6? Or at least to get to a state where my iPhone is usable? I really can't go without a phone.

Oh, also! It's an iPhone 4S, 64GB.

Is the iPhone 5 worth to get?

I currently have an iPhone 4 and I want to upgrade. I've gotten so used to the iPhone and am not sure whether to get another type of phone. So I thought I'd might get the iPhone 5.Is it worth it?

VW Beetle making very loud noise when driving?

I have a 2007 VW Beetles, got 67k miles on it.

The noise came to attention about a week ago, it first started with this deep & loud "hmm" sound when I accelerate or go over 75mph, and seems to ease out if I reduce the speed. I thought it's triggered by going over a certain speed or RPM… But as of yesterday as long as I'm over 40mph it'll make the humming noise along with some rattling sounds coming from the bottom of the car. And it's not getting better by reducing speed or turning. I'm also getting this unpleasant vibrating sensation through the steering wheel and the seat, it feels as if I'm sitting on an iPhone with incoming call…

It could have started a couple weeks ago, but wasn't noticeable until last week. The noise is so loud now that it's giving me a headache, it almost feel as if the car is about to fall apart. D:

Its been a year since the last oil change & general maintenance, about ~6000 miles added. The plastic splash guard on the bottom fell off last winter and got patched back up at the dealership, I don't see it coming off yet by just looking through the bottom of the car. I also changed all 4 tires about 6mo ago.

Any thoughts?

Added (1). Is it safe to keep driving?

Added (2). Another issue that might be related… This doesn't happen often, when I'm coming off a highway/reducing speed with or without stepping on the brakes, the car will tremble (rocks back and forth) once and only once at around 25-30mph. It feels as if I run over a bump or something. Does this sounds like a transmission problem?

Added (3). I've scheduled service for tomorrow… But I do have a 60miles commute between now and the appointment.e_e

Btw, I took it in to see the tremble issue once but since it happens randomly, the mechanics weren't able to replicate the problem. It seemed to have gotten better after the last oil change.

How to get my number off an iphone to sell?

I have verizon, and recently upgraded my iphone 4 to a new Droid phone. I want to sell my Iphone, so I factory reseted it, but it still says my number when I go t the contacts. It also still shows the verizon 3g at the top but obviously doesn't work when I try and go on safari. Is it ok if I sell it like this? Will it just go away when whoever buys it uses it?
