How to survive on an island?

I was on a vacation with my family and we were on a cruise ship. The boat has a 24 hour buffet and I woke up late at night to go get myself something to eat. I was really tired and couldn't keep myself fully awake. Somehow I fell off the back of the ship, luckily my iphone has a waterproof case and I'm a good swimmer so I was able to swim to a small island. All that's there's a medium sized tree, sand, and dirt. The island is about 20 feet by 20 feet and I can barely see the boat anymore. My iphone has reception from the boat but it will be gone soon. All I have is a wet twenty dollar bill, my iphone, and a piece of gum. By the way the tree is a palm tree and I'm somewhere between California and Hawaii I tried to call and text all my friends and family but no one answered. The reception is fading away answer fast!

What does this mean on iphone chat?

This will sound like a dumb question, but For my iphone chat, my messages are in grey, and the person i text is in green. My last text, showed up as a "blue cloud" for a message as opposed to grey. What does this mean? Did my friend get my text (he hasn't responded, granted it could be just him).

Can you use an unlocked iPhone 5 for prepaid and contract?

I'm currently looking at my prepaid options and I decided I want to get either the iphone 4s or the iphone 5.

After doing some research, should I buy an unlocked iphone 4s/5 from the apple store and use it with a prepaid sim card?

Also, if I want to get a contract later down the road, can I still use the same iphone I bought and just use a sim card?

Apple iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S4?

This will be my first time, finally getting a smartphone! I have heard a bunch of people explain that if you're a first timer, then you should get the iphone but, if you're not all of the generations are the same so purchase one of the galaxies instead. 1 reason why I enjoy the galaxies is due to their camera, it makes me look lighter and really cute, whereas the iphone doesn't (what app will do that on the iphone)? The other thing that I really happen to like about the iphone are the emoji'ss. At one point i do want to be different from other people by getting the s4, but then again i've just never experienced / had an iphone before. The only way i'll get a s4 is if you can list an app that will give me emoji's such as the iphone? Also, i'm all about music, so which phone plays music louder?

How to make iPhone 4S louder?

Me and my friend have the exact same iPhone except his is white. He. Never jailbroken it or anything but his is way louder than mine. How can I make mine loud like his WITHOUT jailbreaking it. Also his speaker looks much more cleaner while mine looks like it has a little dust on it.

Added (1). I know how to use the volume buttons I mean when both of our iPhones are max volume his still sounds way louder than mine

Why won't iTunes redeem my gift card?

I recently got an iTunes $15 gift card I went to redeem my card on my iPhone but every time I do it always says that my card hasn't been activated and to go on the apple support page. I have put in the right code for about 10 times and it says the same thing!

Iphone 4s green screen? After dropping twice?

After dropping my phone once onto concrete and cracking the front part, my friend dropped it and then the screen stared to have this weird green glow to it. The only color that my phone has now is green. Anyone know how to fix it?
