I'm looking to upgrade my current phone (a flippy little free thing) and I'm trying to decide between the two. I've had an iPhone in the past, and I know how to use it, but I'm still unsure of which is the better phone for me.
My daughter uses our old 3G iphone as an ipod around the house. Suddenly today she could not longer access the internet using it… We've done hard reset and factory reset. Still it's not connecting.
Any ideas?
Added (1). I guess I should clarify, it's connecting to the Wi-Fi, it's unable to access the internet once it's connected.
1) Does the iPhone show Wi-Fi connections? Yes
2) Correct password? Yes, connects with no issue just doesn't access the internet.
3) Go to general settings and go to reset and reset network settings. *check* didn't work.
4) Mobile data - It's not used as a phone anymore. Has been used as an ipod for the past 2 years (or thereabouts) and suddenly today wasn't accessing the internet.
5) Updated the software, still no luck.
6) did a full restore and still nothing. Any other ideas.
Ok for sometime now randomly, my iPhone keeps on saying "sim card failure". I turn it off, turn it back on again and 5 min.later, it says the same thing. I know I'm not overheating it but it constantly says that and I can't text nor call anyone unless they have iMessage. Should I go to the apple store?
Today I was trying to get sound on my iPhone's speaker. It kept telling me it was on headphone mode. I checked if there was anything stuck inside the headphone jack, and I realized that the little metal piece that is at the end of the ear pods (the thing you stick into the jack) was stuck inside. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to take it out?
Ps. I have tried sticking tooth picks and needles into pick it out, but it's stuck!
I mean when there's one picture on top, and another below it, and it is just one whole picture. How do you do that? Do you need a photo editing app or something? I use an iPhone 4
When I charge it, it doesn't change, and when I don't charge it, it still doesn't change. I haven't charged it all day, so would it technically be at like 40% right now? How do I fix it?
I have an iPhone 3g and nowadays i can't get any apps or games. The ios version is 4.2.1 and the minimum required is 4.3 but i can't update since ios 4.2.1 is the last update. I'd rather have apps or games NOT CRACKED the Wi-Fi chip or antennae broke so i can't install anything from cydia.
