Ok here is my question I'm buying a iphone out right and am wondering what is the best deal at the moment I'm looking for a cheap tarriff that allows me to be on internet but will not cost alot with a decent amount of minutes too I don't really call or text much. Any ideas been looking around but not sure what's the best deal and is 30 day contract better than pay as you go for value? Any advise on current deals would be helpful I have been with o2 for many years but when I look around o2 seems poor value I used to work for them too does loyalty really do you good in the long run? Added (1). One last thing which other networks are good and bad? I here from other people virgin is bad but others say good is it just personal opinion? How about orange and gifgaf and so on.
I want to get an iPhone and use it on Straight Talk's network. If I get an unlocked iPhone and get a T-Mobile SIM from Straight Talk (I understand I'll have to cut it down from a regular size to a micro size), will it work on the network? Obviously I don't want to invest $500+ in this and it won't work.
Ok so i've recently ordered my iPhone 4S that has 500 Texts, 5000 Minutes and 1GB Data, my question is would 1GB of data be enough for receiving emails, watching the odd youtube video, probably 3-5 a month on DATA, and maybe the odd browsing.
So lately I've been thinking and I've decided. I watch these beauty gurus and they get paid a LOT so much it becomes they're career and they live they're life as a beauty guru. I love fashion and i want to be a beauty guru. I've ALWAYS came home after shopping and filmed a video on my iPhone but i always delete it. I just enjoy it so much! But if i make videos i want to start off good. I want to get a good camera and stick with it. When i watch beauty gurus i hate it when theirs bad quality. Does anyone know of a really good camera less then 500 dollars?
What happened is that when I was on my way home, it started raining. By the time I got home, I checked my iPhone and I can see that it's wet.
I quickly used a clean cloth to wipe it but I noticed some water got into the speaker and mic. I sucked the water out using my mouth but it's more difficult to for the mic.what's bad is that I forgot to turn it off.
I checked if there are damages and I found out that the mic is not recording any sound. I kept using the voice memo to record but when I play what I recorded, I can only hear very faint static noise at loud speaker at max volume.
Later, my friend called me and when I answered it I was surprised that he can hear what I was saying. I quickly ended the call and I used the voice memo but the results are the same, same faint static noise.
The next day, I tried to use the voice memo again but my phone slipped from my hand and feel to our wooden floor while recording, I played what it recorded and amazingly, it recorded a very faint thud similar to what I heard when it fell to the floor. Just to make sure I started recording again and I repeatedly hit it against our floor with a unique pattern just to be sure and when I played what it recorded, I can hear the pattern I was doing but the sound is very faint.
My problem is that I don't have the tools and knowledge on how to fix my iPhone. There are even no Apple Technicians available for me to inquire here.
My questions are:
-Will the mic ever work?
-When will it work again?
-What can I do to for it to be fixed?
-What are the possible problems that caused the mic to malfunction?
I wanna sync photos from iphone to computer but i can't see any folder of photos in the iphone when i connect it to computer, the only thing I see is My Music folder. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
My family is going on a cruise ship and I would like to bring my phone along to take pics with. Is there a way I can disconnect my phone/turn off reception, and be able to turn it back on for when the ship stops at B. C. And then turn it back off again when we get back on te ship easily? All I want to be able to do is take pics and vids. Any help would be appreciated.
Is there a feature for this on iphone 5 that if you have no signal you still get alerted about missed calls? If so, how do i switch it on?
My iphone5 (ios 6.1.2 - Untethered By Evasi0n) got bricked because i installed this "Zelda Sound FX" tweak on Cydia for Winterboard & ever since that my iphone didn't boot up, it got stuck on the apple logo then it dims… And it stays like that.
So what tripped me out was when i connected my iphone to my windows 7 laptop,
it detects it & my camera roll comes up perfectly fine, even itunes detects it but
the problem is it won't let me restore it because i've got a passcode & there's no chance of removing it because it won't boot up.
(i also read if i wanted to keep my jailbreak, i coulda just re-jailbreak it with Evasi0n and it would go back to normal but some problem, it asks me for a passcode 
).
so i deleted all of my Winterboard themes/tweaks with iSpirt and it doesn't make a difference when i hard reset it.
i also went into DFU mode & it doesn't pop up on "my computer" or even on itunes…
