Do iPhones ever go on sale? And my parents tell me I can't get one because I don't use my other phone, which I really don't use much cause I hate it. How can I get them to buy me one, or ask them if I can get one with my own money?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a iPhone 5 but I don't want to trade in my iPhone 4 and 100 bucks to get a iPhone 5 and instead buy the iPhone 5 at the 200 bucks price with a 2 year contract. If I was to get a iPhone 5 which gots new SIM cards can I use it which both iPhones or can't and should trade it in since its basically useless now. Also this is AT&T

I got a new iPhone 5 and I'm going through the settings and came across "Restrictions."
It asks me for a pads code but I don't know what it is… Is there a default? If so, what is it? I tries 0000 but it failed and now it says "1 failed attempt" or something like that.
I know that I have never set a code for it.
What could it be?

I do not know why this is happening! I was coming back from a trip to Nova Scotia, I turned my phone off when I was on the plane and it comes back on! I thought it might be that I have too many photos on my phone so I deleted some of them but that didn't help! Any ideas or suggestion that might help me?
