Every time I plug in my iPhone 5 into the usb port, it takes quite a long time for my laptop to recognize it, and my phone won't charge. Itunes doesn't recognize it either and a window doesn't pop up allowing me to view my phones pictures.
Then a window pops up in the bottom right corner that says -
"Power surge on hub port. Apple mobile device has exceeded the power limits of it's hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message."
I have tried multiple times clicking on the message to attempt to fix the problem, but nothing happens. I'm not very computer savvy, which doesn't help.
I'm in desperate need of assistance.
