I recently purchased an iPhone 4 from a place that flashes phone. I got mine flashed to Metro PCS and everything works fine (ie.mms, SMS, 3G) except the FaceTime. I tried to FaceTime a friend with an iPhone 5 and it didn't work. I tried going to the setting and turning it on and it keeps saying "waiting for activation".
I have a 32GB iPhone 4 on Verizon. Been noticing that the responsiveness has been lacking. App loading. Locking. Typing. I'm using iOS 6.1.3 Any pointers to speed up my phone? I'm up for upgrade in July, so I'd like my phone to function accordingly until then.
I currently have a contract with t mobile that has alot of time to go, because I had to buy a new phone because my unlocked nexus broke and no where in my town would fix it, the IPhone is coming out in a week and I was planning on waiting for my upgrade which would be here already if not for my situation I had. I looked on their website and it did with my amount of time it would be 200$ to terminate my contract, could I then buy an IPhone with the new simple choice plan for 100$? Coming out at 300$, which I'm going to sell my galaxy S3 to make up 200 I need for it. Or would they not allow my out of my contract just to switch plans?
I have the Netgear WNDR4500 router and I set everything up fine, but for some reason my Wi-Fi isn't working. The internet on my computer works and the Wi-Fi pops up on my iPhone, but when I put in the password, it'll just say "Unable to join the network". This is how I set up the Wi-Fi.
Does anybody have idea why the Wi-Fi isn't working?
Added (1). I tried rebooting the router and it didn't work.
Added (2). I reset the password… And nothing changed. It still doesn't work.
I'm buying an iPhone 4s from craigslist. It says the phone is Sprint but my network is T-mobile. Can I factory unlock it? Do you know much much will it cost me to unlock it?
I'm getting a nokia lumia 900 and i can't find a good case. I know that the iphones have better cases. So would it fit the nokia lumia 900. Please tell me.
I play 8-Ball Pool via Miniclip mostly on my iPhone but ever since I've updated it, it seems to think that I live in the United States and it won't let me choose my Avatar any more… Is there a way on amending this?
A message popped up on itunes saying in order to update my software I must restore & back up my iphone.although once I had restored it, it had got frozen on the "connected to itunes screen" while it was backing up all my previous data. I then stupidly clicked back up iphone, again in order to make it work although it just erased all my data and set my iphone up as new.
Therefore how do I load my iphone with the previous back up (before I accidentally backed it up again)? As it has all my photos, texts etc. On it.
Just a note I've seen websites saying you can find previous back ups on,
Windows 7 and Vista:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\… Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Although I'm on windows 7 and this "AppData" which contains these folders is not on my computer at all.
Has anyone changed their iPhone 5 front screen to a different color one. I bought one off of ebay but i'm worried it will break the phone and I don't want to basically throw $200 away.
I wanted to transfer all of my pictures from my iPhone to my computer. I plugged it in and it started charging and syncing with iTunes. (iTunes was closed.) I went to go take all of my pictures off of my phone and my iPhone wasn't showing up under My Computer, so I tried unplugging it and replugging it in. Again, it began charging and synced to iTunes, which was open this time. It failed to sync to my computer, though. I tried it on my sister's laptop and it synced and it gave me the option to upload pictures to her computer. I tried my own computer once more, and it began charging and syncing with iTunes again, but still wouldn't show up in My Computer. I don't know why it's not working. I don't think that it's my computer because any other camera shows up perfectly fine and I can upload the pictures to my computer. Any help?
