Does iMessage use 3G on an iPhone?
It's brand new from the Verizon store. Just picked up last Thursday, and wasn't opened til Saturday & Since then it's been in the box. Still has the screen protector on it, has charger, earphones, manual, everything. In box too.
I'm running on a mac desktop, with iTunes 11.0.1. I'm currently running on ios 6.1, iphone 4, with jailbreak, wanting to restore and update the phone. So i started this process about a half hour ago, and since then it has told me so update the phone, it will be four hours, and not even a megabyte of data has changed, it just stood like that.
I want to buy an iphone 4s white. I want to know if its still in stock in apple stores. Also the plan i can get and cost of it altogether.
I have an iphone, the lock button doesn't work so i can't turn it off. I started downloading an app and it froze i tried to pause it but it won't work and i also don't have a working computer right now so does anyone know how i can cancel the download and restart it so it will finish it has been downloading for hours now and it hasn made any progress.

My messenger on my iPhone is not notifying me when I get a new message
I'm getting tired of looking at the same slider key everytime I unlock my iPhone. Lol. I Googled it and I have only found information on doing that to jailbroken phones. I was wondering if there was a way to change the icon to something personal on a iPhone that is NOT jail broken.
I have a 16GB iPhone 4s, 6.81 GB is taken up by other, and it is just so frustrating to me. I know that it needs to take up some GB for the operating system, etc, but having almost 7 GB of it taken by just the other is ridiculous. I have cleared the cookies and history on the safari. I've deleted my messages. I've gotten rid of unneeded contacts. I have cleared up my email. I don't know what else I can possibly do. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
This morning I woke up to see that my phone has deleted all of my contacts.
Is there a way I can do this without iTunes? I ask this as my Macbook Pro no longer connects with my iPhone properly so that's not an option.
