I've had an iPhone 4S since September and the battery is terrible by now. It's gone down 15 percent in the last 25 minutes. What do you do to keep your battery up? Please don't say "don't use it"?

I'm using iphone 4s. The operating system IOS 6.1.3 is suggesting me for updating. But in our area we have no Wi-Fi zone. I use GPRS. Is it possible to update IOS using GPRS.
Yesterday I bought regular nintendo 3ds and pokemon.So, i downloaded netflix app on my 3ds. I already have my netflix account. The movies are still loading forever… That's long so how can i fix that?
My laptop, iphone 5, ps3, wii u, and xbox 360 are fine with netflix but not 3ds. It is so slow!

So today my iphone 4s stopped playing sound through the earphones and without them i couldn't adjust the volume in no way but i was Still getting sound from incoming or out going calls and my alarm. I went back and as i was placing my phone on charge i noticed the soundbar and sound was working again then i noticed something else the sound/soundbar only worked with my charger inserted in to the bottom. I tried the apple site and forums but as it being apple was no help at all. Any ideas on how to repair or what to do?

I got a text and read it and remembered that my read receipts were off so I know it'd still say delivered on his phone.
After I read the text, I went to go turn on my read receipts.
Will it change right away from delivered to read even though I changed the settings after or will it still say delivered for him since I read it before I changed it?
