Basically, my iPhone 3GS is stuck in a recovery mode loop.
I've installed applications programmed to get it out of such a situation, however, whenever i click the "exit recovery mode loop" button or something like that, the iPhone shuts down, disabling the application to get it out of the loop.
I've tried
TinyUmbrella
- iPhone shut down when I tried to exit the loop
2. IREB
-Had no effect
3. IHackintosh
-Couldn't even download the software
4. FixRecovery(which is supposedly TinyUmbrella but i think it's different)
-All was going well until something in the HTML code or something went wrong (something about waiting 60, 000 ms for something to happen and giving up)
I've also attempted changing the hosts, but that had no effect. As of now, I've created a custom IPSW and restored the iPhone to it but the unknown error (3914) keeps occuring. The error 29 has also happened but I believe that's what I'm trying to fix.
CAN ANYBODY AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT IS GOING WRONG OR THAT THERE's NO POSSIBLE Way TO FIX THIS ABOMINATION OF AN IPHONE AND CAN STOP TRYING NOW! MY BACK HURTS So BAD!
BTW, I don't really have anything on the iPhone and wouldn't mind losing the contents.
OH and the iPhone was a handydown from my Pa, who jailbroke it( or tried to, I don't know) and that might be the reason I'm here in the first place.
Help WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED
RLLY
Please
Help ME
I also don't remember the iOS but the one in my custom IPSW that I'm trying to restore to is 5.0
