So, basically I'm a guitarist hat write my own music and wants to record it better. I have been recently torn with the issue of how to improve my recording methods. Given that I need a new phone anyway I simply fell in love with the idea of having a portable recording device with a good cam that could post right onto youtube instantly. So I was thinking of a quality phone like the iphone 5, 4s xperia z or maybe xperia s something like it.
On the other hand a phone is simply a phone and can't be my main tool for recording vids. So I feel it is necessary I buy a separate microphone and cam altogether.
my problem is now that I see a triple balance. To me the mic is the most important facet and then the quality of the vid.
my question is now, what should I do get a really good phone with an amazing cam that can record for me and maybe skip the other recording stuff or get a mic and keep using my built in webcam? If so which phone is a good cheaper alternative with still decent internet and a camera.
And finally, what are some good models of recorders, are there any good cameras of high quality recorders or should I buy them separately, some suggestion of models and recorders is much appreciated. In fact any replies are much appreciated thanks for reading!
