So here's my story for anyone that can give me helpful adivice…
I purchased my iphone 5 almost 3 months ago from this day… NEW from Verizon Wireless not refurbished or anything like that, I haven't had a problem with it up until yesterday it got really hot & turned off it wouldn't turn back on so I had to restore it sadly. So then came the next day which is today, I went to the nearest apple store from where I work set up an appointment with the genius guy because my iPhone shouldn't have done that to me. He told me I'm sorry for the bad news but your 1 year guarantee has been voided due to tampering with the phone so he told me that my iPhone 5 didn't have the 2 screws in the bottom by the speakers. Now I didn't notice my iPhone did not have those screws up until today, I'm so *** off I got no idea what to do… I need to file a claim because I'm 100% sure that my iPhone was sold to me like that it couldn't have fell off & I don't think Apple hand inspects every iPhone in the world maybe mine was unlucky so now to the point, I need help on what I should do like who to speak to & how to handle this. Please no stupid advice put yourself in my shoes. I paid for an item that should come with every part & I will fight this issue. I want my guarantee & an iPhone with all the parts it should have. I'd like to add that it's my first iPhone so no I didn't know screws went in there It looked like part of the speakers to me honestly.
