My friend got his iphone 3gs 6.0 with retina display but we really don't know how to enable it in my iPhone
The thing is, it's jailbroken.
If I reset it, like the internet says to do so it gets out of the frozen apple screen, will it be unjailbroken?
How will I know if my iPhone 3gs is already in jailbreak?
And my iphone 3gs is already unlocked so can I install any apps on it?
So I'm willing to get an AT&T locked iPhone 5 from the USA, and I live in Lebanon. I heard it is possible to unlock it at any cell shop here, but is there any hidden fee? (I heard that you pay monthly from AT&T or something?). If so, is there any way to get a locked iPhone and unlock it without having to pay monthly? (Friend is in the USA and coming soon… ) Thanks!
I've downloaded a couple of games, so I can play when I'm not connected to the Wi-Fi. I can't imagine games would need to connect to the net but just in case, is there somewhere in the app description that will tell me if it uses the internet.
With apps like facebook, twitter, and skype apps, do they only access the internet when I open them or all the time so they can notify me when I'm not using them?
I have an iphone 5 with a prepaid sim, usually used Wi-Fi on my old phone but can't seem to tell if the iphone is connecting to the internet by Wi-Fi or my carrier network (Which would cost a lot)
Will it always use Wi-Fi if it's available or could it be using the network when I'm at home?
Is there any settings to change so that it will limit the data usage on the network, or just warn me when it's going to use the network?
I'm buying an iPhone 5 for a great price. Its cheap, and because it's unlocked will it work in Australia? It's a Uk iPhone 5, but because it's unlocked will it work in Australia on Telstra, virgin etc etc… Very confused here:/
A courier is picking up my phone today and replacing it there and then, but I want to use my phone up until the point of the swap, so the changeover needs to be as quick as possible at the time of collection (so as not to keep the courier waiting).
I need to take out the sim and restore to factory settings, so can I take out the SIM card while the phones turned on, then start the reset on the phone itself (which'll take about a minute to do), or do I need to turn the phone off to take the sim out, then start it up again to restore?
Added (1). This is an iPhone… The battery is locked in the phone, and I'm pretty sure they're not going to throw it in a bin…
I was washing the dishes and my phone rang then it dropped inside hot water that i was going to use for coffee!
