Is it possible to update an iPhone 3 to a later IOS?

My friend got a used iPhone 3 for Christmas, and is having trouble working it. When she first got it she thought it was a 3s and then she could update it easily to IOS 6, but it turns out it's only a 3, and is not supported… My question is; can you update it to an earlier IOS instead? Like I heard it will only run up to 4.2 or something, but will Apple even offer that still? I know to update it you just hook it up to ITunes and it'll let you know there's and update, but will it give you an earlier version?

How to BOOT/KICK someone off my Wi-Fi

Well, I have been trying to download some software for my mac but all of a sudden my internet is too slow to download it. I downloaded a application that hows what's connected to my Wi-Fi. It turns out that my next door neighbor's son has his iPod, xbox, laptop, and iphone connected to my internet. I have a MAC so please tell me how to kick him off or ban him. Any thing works i just want him off!

Updating iPhone 4 to iOS 6.0.1? - 1

I still haven't updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 because I heard about slow issues and battery issues and I'm kind of afraid to update it. I've got 7 GB free on my phone so I think that's plenty of space. Anyone who has updated recommend it?
