I can't transfer my conacts from my gmail to my iphone 5?

So i managed to get all my contacts from my old blackberry onto my google/gmail account on my laptop. Now when i connect my new iphone 5 into itunes and the clikc info there's no option for me choose sync contacts from google, there's no drop down menu (as the apple website says there should be) Please can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong. By the way i have the most up to date itune possible so it doesn't look like your typical itunes

I've traveled around nearby towns and I've seen people carrying Michael kors bags, huge brand watches, Louis, ray bans and all in work clad neighborhood. Yet there are people who are renting small portions or houses there. Even Instagram all you see is apple freaks and people who brag about their designer stuff. More people are acting like the iphone is what gave them life. And then you hear people say they are in recession lol

How to connect to Wi-Fi on my iPhone?

I live in Chicago and in my apartment building we have free Wi-Fi down in the lobby but where my apartment is at in the building it doesn't work because its out of range. My question is there anything I can buy like an antenna or something that grabs Wi-Fi? Especially in a big city there's tons of free Wi-Fi everywhere I just want it in my apartment without paying for Internet.
