IPHONE 4S ACTIVATING 3G

Hey i've just got an iphone for christmas, its the 4s, its set up and is working fine but my 3G still isn't on. I'm not sure how to activate it or anything. How long does it normally take before 3g starts and i can use my phone anywhere?

I'm thinking about going on contract with O2 and getting an iPhone 5. However, will it have 4G? I'm confused because the 4G phones on EE are much more expensive, so if I go with an iPhone 5 on O2 at a cheaper price, will it have 4G or just 3G?

I can't downgrade my iphone 4s from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1?

I have an Iphone 4s which I have bought as new with 6.0.1 already installed in the phone, However to jailbreak it I want to downgrade to 5.1.1.

I have tried using SHSH blobs but since my phone has never had 5.1.1 firmware I don't know how to do that,

Hi I've just got an iPhone 5 for Christmas and I can't upload my Christmas videos to Facebook
I've got the app but the videos won't upload they haven't got a tick next to them to let me upload them
Does anyone have any ideas?
My iPhone 3 in the past would let me do it
