Apps for taking pictures on iPhone?

Today I'm going to get an iPhone, most likely 4s, if not 4. I absolutely love taking pictures and I'd like to start taking pictures on my iPhone. I have an iPod touch, although it's a second generation and therefore doesn't have a camera.
I was wondering (from both iPhone and iPod touch users) which apps you find useful for taking/editing pictures. I would prefer them to be free, but if they're truly a good app, then I don't mind forking over a couple of dollars for it.

Overheating iPhone 5 after throwing it?

I was very stressed out this morning (my roommate was defacing my property as a "joke") and in a moment of anger, I tried to throw my iPhone against my pillow, but I missed and hit the wall. Now it is overheating, losing battery life, and it is continually searching for a cellular signal. Any ideas how to fix it, or do I need to buy a new phone?

Added (1). *By the way, I know throwing the phone was stupid and wrong. I just need to find a solution to the problem at hand.

Does watching a video on iPhone 5 offline uses data?

I have downloaded some video downloader apps that lets me download/cache the video and can watch it later without using 3G/4G or Internet connection. So will I be charged for watching those videos that I've downloaded offline without any internet connection?
Examples of those apps: Free video downloader, Mctube.

Why does the iphone 5 battery last so long despite its capacity?

The iphone 5 battery lasts so long my friends used his iphone and played games for like an hour and the phone had been running to 84% and on standby for 4 hours whereas my android phone was on standby and the screen was only switched on for 16 minutes and the battery % 86 and it had been on standyby for four hours. My phone capacity is 2150 mah - lg optimus 4x hd. My friend had told me that the iphone battery lasts longer as its cpu clock speed is lower and is dual core whereas mine is quad core. Furthermore, the iphone 5 cpu is built in with the chip and so the OS does not have to find the cpu whereas in mine it is the opposite, just wondering is this true? And why does the iphone 5 have such a great battery life?

IPhone 4 speaker problem?

So, it was pouring with rain today and my iPhone which was inside my pocket appears to have got a little wet. Now when I try and play and music or receive calls from it, without the headphones in, there's no sound that comes out. It does however still work for music and calls when the headphones are plugged in.

Also, even when I adjust the sound on the phone, with the headphones out, it still pops up with "headphones" so it seems to believe that the headphones are still in the phone, even when they are not?

Does anyone have any idea of possible causes and/or solutions to this problem?

Devices can't sign into home wi-fi?

We just got the internet a few months ago and it's been working perfectly fine on the laptop and on another laptop of a friend but my brothers HP Pad thing (like an iPad but HP) I don't know what it's called, anyway it was working just fine through our internet connection but now it doesn't work.
Also my boyfriends iPod Touch won't sign in at all.

The password has not been changed or anything and it's being typed in perfectly fine, and my brothers HP Pad has it remembered but won't work still.

I'm getting an iPhone soon and don't want to not be able to sign into the internet at home…
Anything we can do? Is it the internet/router or the devices? Like I said the 2 laptops still work.
