Do I have to pay for ringtones for my Virgin Mobile iPhone?

I have an old Virgin Mobile phone now, and you can only buy ringtones through them, and for $2.50. I know on my friends' iPhones through other carriers, they can set their ringtone from any company they choose to buy a ringtone from or from their mp3 list or whathaveyou. I'm just curious about how it works with an iPhone through Virgin Mobile.

Do I have to go to the in laws?

My husband wants to go to his parents Christmas Eve. His mom plans on having cocktail food now and to attend church, open gifts, etc. His 10 and 13year old brothers are spoiled kids who get an Xbox almost every year and an iPhone 4s or 5 this year. My own son is sick of them and he used to like them alot. His mother and I really do not get along, she is very condescending and jealous and his dad shows off money that he thinks he has (but no job, just lives off his savings). They ignore us when we go up there and sit around watching tv or playing on their devices all night, its uncomfortable.

My husband is refusing to go to my mom's this year because he's tired of going there. My mom is a nurse who works nights, so CE she works. My Grandma is going to her nephew's, so we're on our own. I told him we could split CD and go to my moms half a day and his parents the rest but my mom got angry at a comment his mom made and banned us from her house because. Do I have to go through all this turmoil? Should I just have something at my place?

Added (1). He told me I'm not allowed to stay at home and have to go where he goes, or he sits at home

Mobile code for USA from UK?

I want to send my friend a message from my iPad to their iPhone but when I enter their number it doesn't recognise it, I'm guessing I need to add some sort of code at the beginning like here in UK I think it's +44 or something like that I'm not sure but if someone could shed some light on this subject I would be very grateful.

Why does itunes keep wanting me to set up my iphone 5?

So I got an iphone 5 today, had the iphone 4 before this. When I connect to itunes it gives me the option to set up as new or back up from my previous phone. I backed up from the previous phone and it appears to do it all correctly, however every time I plug the phone into the computer and go to itunes it keeps presenting me with only these 2 options - new set up or backed up set up, even after I have already done this. It won't let me progress into managing my phone at all.

Any reason why?

Added (1). I should add to be clear:

I should add that the screen it is constantly stuck on is the "Welcome to your new iphone" screen. Where it gives only 2 options "set up as new iphone" or "restore from this backup:"

How to make myself go to bed earlier?

I normally put my light out at about midnight. It's not that I can't get to sleep early; it's just that I don't how to make myself put my light out any earlier.
I often like to get up early on a college morning so that I get time to go and relax on the sofa and watch part of a DVD and eat some fruit, but I sometimes do not get a lot of time due to the fact that I find it hard to get up any earlier than about 7:25-7:30. I feel that this is because I only get upstairs at about 10:00 on a lot of nights. I don't go out partying or dating or anything like that; I just stay downstairs for too long. I drink a cup of warm milk and have some dark chocolate and a banana for super as, apparently, these three things can help you get to sleep. I then watch part of a DVD upstairs as, apparently, watching a bit of T. V can help you get to sleep as long as the movie/T.V programme is not too action-packed, disturbing or otherwise mind-boggling and unsettling can help you to relax. This is now part of my routine and I would not edit that out. I'm supposed to read for a bit before putting my light out, but I now find it too tempting to just mess with my iPhone for a bit instead. I know that this is wrong so, if I knew how to set my alarm on my bedside clock instead, I might be able to just leave the phone downstairs.
I'm a female 17 year old, and I'm a vegetarian (I do not eat meat or fish). Due to my moral principles, I would not have to change my diet.
Does anyone know of any other possible ways that I could force myself to get to bed earlier?
