OMG! I can't unlock my iPhone and I'm freeaaking out. My mom punished me from my iPhone and I just went go get it back. So she can't be any help to me. I tried plugging the charger Thingy into the computer but the little box that shows that a device is connected won't show up! Maybe it as to do with the bubble that's in the middle of the phone that says Requires Activation.

I bought a iPhone 4 off a guy who said he was selling it for a friend.
This guy went to my secondary school.
I spoke to my mate and he said the way to tell if it is stolen is to put a sim card into the iPhone and see if it is blocked.
Is there any other way to tell if the iPhone is stolen? I don't have a sim card for it and I don't want to sell it on ebay if it's stolen, I'll report it to the police right away.

It only came with a charger
My friend smacked my iPhone 4S out of my hand from about five feet in the air and it went flying about four feet. It was in an Otter Box and seems to have no physical damage aside from a thin crack on the inside of the screen.
But, now when i turn it on it seems to have dead spots all over the screen and if I double click the home button while the phone is locked the music comes up as normal, but it will start fast-forwarding and rewinding, skipping songs, and the volume will change all without me touching it.
This is my second iPhone 4S because the first one I had had a long dead spot on the bottom of the screen and was swapped out for this one a few days after purchase.
I've had my current one for two months. Is there anyway I can fix it? I tried to restore it off my computer but it still glitches out when I try to reset my settings.
What can I do, besides getting a new phone?

I want to buy an iphone form ebay but in the description it says LOCKED TO THE ORANGE/T-MOBILE NETWORK. Please do not purchase this handset if you intend to use it on other networks. Does this mean i can't unlock it or is it not considering that option?
So my iPhone got stolen.before updating my laptop kept a back up in the PC. So Is it possible to transfer all the datas of my phone to iPad? And when i say all i mean specially the messages. Because they are very important to me. And once i transfer will it delete it from my pc or i can transfer again if i buy another iPhone.
