My mom is planning on getting me an iPhone but she had already established that she will not buy the texting plan.
And on an iPhone, that green app: Messages is supported in the iPhone…
If I don't buy the texting plan… Can I still send text msgs on it?
Because on my itouch, I use the Message to text people…
I would like to get a bumper case for my phone, preferably the SGP neo hybrid snow series case. But I'm paranoid I could damage the back of my phone. I was wondering if there was a protective, slim iPhone case that would work under it to protect my back or if anyone knows of an iPhone 4S bumper case that already has a backing on it
I currently have Verizon and I don't like their high prices for data, so I want to switch to T-Mobile. I would like to use my unlocked iPhone 3G for their prepaid $30/month plan for unlimited texting, 5GB of data with 100 minutes. It is the perfect plan for me and I don't want to miss out on it. I have been researching this for such a long time and I can't get a straight answer. Some people say, "Yes, you can use an unlocked iPhone for T-Mobile prepaid" while others argue that you can't. I just want one simple answer to the yes or no question.
Can I use my unlocked iPhone 3G for a T-Mobile prepaid plan?

My iphone 4 had fell into water. So i have dryed it from outside and it was working but suddnley stopped. So i had to take out the sim card.
I heared that iphone is water proof, but you must wait 3 days atleast so it would dry out, and it will be normal again.
I tryed to put the charge in it. It worked but they say that i must connect it to itunes i think.
So what you suggest me to do.
Should i take it to a place to fix it?
Or wait till it dry out and work again?
Or whatever?
I have an iphone 3g
and it was passed down from my elder brother, the charger he gave me was a little damaged (the wires at one end inside the plastic were visible)… Sometimes it wouldn't work… So my mum got me another charger from ebay and it wouldn't work at all
then we complained and they sent another free of charge to replace it… Then we realised that the 1st ebay charger did work but there was a printing default on it in the factory and we realised we just needed to insert the charger into the phone with the symbol facing the opposite way…
anyways now we have 3 chargers that work fine but recently my phone won't charge… I've tried different plug sockets, different chargers. I have made sure that everything is inserted properly and still nothing… When it dies i still keep it in and after ages it manages to charge to something under 10% and then it won't charge anymore… The "charging" symbol on the screen won't show up
so i'm thinking… What if its a problem with the actual phone?
Side note: My silent button doesn't work either, when i flick it to make it silent it doesn't go on silent… This has been like this for 5 months now and it doesn't bother me like it did.
Buying a iPhone 1st Gen, which is bricked, and has a crack. How much is it worth?
Every time i go to download an app it asks for the old owners password, i just bought it and now i'm kinda stuck. Do i reset it? And if so will it mess up the factory unlock on the phone?
I had traded my used blackberry for a used iPhone 3GS. The phone worked fine, the guy had removed his sim card and we traded phones. Once I got home, I reset the phone and updated it using iTunes.
After the phone was done doing it's thing, I got a beginning screen to activate the phone. After entering everything up past the Wi-Fi connection request, it was loading and gave me this message:
"Could not activate iPhone
Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporaily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it, or try again in a couple minutes."
The phone is originally from AT&T but I'm assuming it was unlocked because the guy was using it with a Rogers simcard. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I'm not too sure what to do or there's anything I can do!
The maximum Harddrive space on the latest iphone is only 64gb? Why is that? With all the apps, songs and films you can download the maximum space apple gives you is 64gb? Why? Its nowhere near as much as a laptop and cast your mind back to the ipod classic you could get a 160GB harddrive on them. Does anyone know why apple went backwards?
