If I switch from USB tethering to Wi-Fi tethering it immediately works. It is somehow specifically tied to USB tethering. I have no problem accessing the internet with USB tethering, just the VPN.

I have a iPhone 7 from boost. I didn't want it from boost but my parents got it as bday present.boost sucks so much the calls don't work at my house so I can't call in my house or at school. I was thinking of switching to verisoin but I don't know how that will work. Please help because I'm sick not being able to call. And if I do manage to call it's super bad quality.
On Sunday night (it's currently Wednesday evening) I accidentally dropped my iPhone in a glass of water with about an inch or so of water in it (so only about an inch of my phone was submerged, the top part where the cameras are), but i dried it off with a towel right away and it seemed to be working fine so i didn't worry. However today and yesterday it's been screwing up a lot, like it'll freeze up and won't do anything like 50 percent of the time i try to use it for something, and sometimes it'll spazz out entirely and click random stuff all over the screen until i turn it off.
Anyways, is it too late to try the phone in rice thing? If it is too late, does anyone know of any quick and cheap/free fixes for this? I really can't afford to buy a new phone right now
