I just ordered my Iphone 5 from Sprint and I'm expecting it to come in the mail here in a few days. One of my co workers was telling me that when Sprint gets 4G, my Iphone will have it and I will not be charged anything. Is this true?

So i got a new iPhone today and i want to put my music from my old iPhone to my new one. However, i do not want to put all of the songs from my iTunes library onto my new phone, i just want the songs from the old phone. Is there any way to transfer just the songs on my old iPhone to my new iPhone, and NOT the whole iTunes library?
I was take the crackd glass out by picking at it because it kept falling out. I picked out the wrong part and i tore the whole screen off. Being the retard i'm i took all the paneling out or whatever and i now have no screen. Can this be repaired? How? And what is the price range?
So i'm Irish and and i'm going to New york on holiday in the next week. I've been planing on buying an Unlocked Iphone 5 while i'm there for use at home here in Ireland, only to learn that the Official unlocked IPhone 5 has yet to be released in the US
There's a very small chance that it will be released within the next two weeks so that seemingly rules out my chances of buying one. But today a friend had linked me with a site that claims that all IPhone 5's sold on the Verizon network in the US are unlocked phones.

On that point i know about apple's international warranty clause that basically annuls the warranty outside of the country which it was bought and i also know my country does not yet have 4G network.

Added (1). To Scott: thanks very much, but its not a problem getting one in Ireland, in fact the IPhone that are sold here are unlocked, what concerns me move are the price i could save over 200€ by buying one in the Us
Can you buy an iPhone 5 outright (unlocked/no contract) in the USA yet? I can't seem to find any prices except pay monthly on, for example, verizon.
And if so, does it work out significantly cheaper than buying for £529 in the UK considering the 8% tax or whatever it is in the USA?
I have an old sim (2g apparently) and I want to transfer my number when I get the iPhone 5. I'm currently on o2 and would like to stay with them. Is it possible to swap my number or would it not work because its an old sim?
I think this should be such a simple thing but I've made it complicated and the o2 site isn't very helpful! I can't even order it off this site so have to get it from phones4u site but that only transfers numbers from different companies.
