I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 now and I've had it since August 23, 2011. I got the 3 year plan so it will end in a little bit under 2 years. My carrier is Telus and I got the phone for $149.99 and pay about $60 a month for it.
If ever my BlackBerry breaks, can Telus replace it with an iPhone 5? Would it cost much to do that?

So, my friend has an iPhone 3GS. It's stuck in the Emergency Call screen and iTunes won't recognize his iPhone.
Now, I know about DFU mode. Only problem is, his power button is broken. Y'know, the button on the top of the phone, which is required for DFU mode (at least I think it is).

I'm basically looking to upgrade to an iPhone 4 rather than my old, 2006 technology phone (parents have smartphones using data, which is the reason we have an unlimited plan). I know that if you go the Verizon route and upgrade for free through the company, you are forced off of the unlimited plan. Can I buy a standalone iPhone 4 from eBay or another place and get it activated on my unlimited plan?
