I have a jailbroken iphone 4s and it's ios5 and it says I can get the ios6 and all, but will it crash or will anything happen? Or can I just click download and it'll work fine?

No sooner did I update the iPhone to iOS 6, the ear piece in the device stopped working. The loud speaker works fine. I thought about possibly restoring back to 5.1.1 to see if its truly software related or if it's possibly hardware. Any help?
