I know that I can sync my Facebook friends photos with my iPhone contacts using the Facebook app and also with SmartSync, but the problem is the privacy issue, where both apps store the phone numbers and contact details.
Is there a way to automatically match my friends photos with my iPhone contacts without storing any information? Obviously I can do it manually, but that's not the point.
I just switched to the iphone5 from an android phone. I have over 4, 000 pictures that were saved to my sd card on my thunderbolt phone and I want to transfer them to my iphone. I want to avoid syncing the pictures through itunes because then I can't delete them directly from my iphone. I don't want to have to plug in my phone to itunes every time I want to delete a picture. Is there a way that I can transfer pictures from my computer directly (or indirectly) to the iphone? I'm open to using apps or software as long as it is free. Please help!
Added (1). I noticed that when I sync pictures from iTunes to my iPhone then I can't delete them directly from the phone after that. That trash can doesn't show up. That's what I'm trying to avoid. I'm not sure. But I don't think my old android phone is compatible with the cloud.
So the question I ask you is what one should I go with? Both have basically the same features, I was wondering if it is worth paying more, here in Australia, Iphones are normally $400 more than the Ipod touch of the same amount of gb, so is it worth buying an Iphone for what I want to use it for or is it better for me to buy an Ipod touch for everything I need?
Any input? I have the opportunity to purchase a "like-new" iPhone 4 from someone I work with for 150$. However, I realize the iPhone 5 is about to release and I wouldn't like to buy it, just to have the price plummet next week.
Added (1). It might actually be a 4s. Not sure. Didn't know they were two different things. I still have a flip phone that does no sort of getting on the internet or any of that fancy stuff.
How much would it cost to unlock an iPhone 4 s on orange in an orange shop?
I have sprint and am currently in a 2 year contract. If I buy my friends iphone 4s because they got a new iphone 5, can I switch to that iphone instead of my current phone without having to renew my contract and just have activation fees or whatever little fees?
I don't want to renew my contract and to buy them new without it is way too expensive.

I wanted to jailbreak my iPhone because the Internet is not working. Everyone tells me to change the APN settings on it but my phone doesn't have it it has VPN settings. So the customer service told me I hadn't jailbroken it and I needed too. But I wanted to know if I jailbreak it, will I have to activate it again? I have my phone activated with NET10, the 50.00 plan and well I don't want to pay again, an activation and set up of it all. And also what are good, free and easy jailbreak websites/apps/methods?

I bought an iPhone 4 16gb off ebay. When I got it I noticed some scratches on the screen she had no listed in her description, so I contacted her, and she got super deffencive. She told me to read her description, and I did, it did not mention any scratches. It said "very good with no problems with the phone" when asked about the condition.
I contacted eBay and it is now a "case".
I then was listening to a song on my iPhone and then it crashed. I plugged it into iTunes and did what they told me to: completely reset it and update. I did and then, I was in an app and it crashed again. I don't want to restore it again (it took like 15 minuets for it to restore, then about 10 minuets later it crashed.)
SOS! The eBay case could take a week to close… Now I'm trying to restore it on iTunes… AND IT'S STUCK! SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOS!
Hi, I just bought a iPhone 4s from Craigslist, and it was all in Chinese characters. I changed the language already, but when I search in the google bar in safari, it takes me to Chinese google. How do I fix this? Also, when I'm in the App Store, it says I'm logged on to my account, but when I tried to update my Facebook app, it told me to enter my password for the previous owners apple ID. 1 more problem I'm having, is when I try to download some apps, it says something like "incompatible with Canada App Store, must switch to Chinese App Store." Please help.
