I know you are supposed to go to general>siri>my info and choose yourself from your contact list. But when i do this, it only shows my contacts. Not me or any of my info. I want to be able to use siri for questions like "how do i get home?" but i can't.
I just tried updating my iphone 4 to iOS 6 and I went through part of the set up and i got to the part where it's asking me how I want to set up my iPhone. The options are "Set Up as New iPhone" "Restore from iCloud backup" and "restore from itunes backup". I tried the icloud and it didn't work, so I tried the itunes and I have my phone connected to my laptop but its not syncing, its just showing me the screen that tells me to connect my phone to itunes. Can someone please help me, I have no idea what I'm doing and I don't want to start my iphone as a new one because I don't want to lose everything on my phone, Help Please.
I'm hoping someone can help me with this, but my yahoo mail account I have set up on my Iphone has never given me a problem. Then, yesterday my Iphone 4 had an upgrade so I upgraded it. Ever since then every time I try to check my email a message comes up saying "the connection to the server failed" I have tried turning off my phone and restarting it, but that doesn't help, and I tried deleting my account and adding it back, but nothing works. It does however work when connected to the 3g, but not the Wi-Fi. If you can help me Thank you so much.
So i just updated my iPhone's software to iOS6 and i know this is becoming a trending topic since everyone is complaining about it. Ok, but seriously! Where is Steve Jobs when you need him? He would have seen this disgusting update and put everyone to shame. I use YouTube and Maps the most on my iPhone and I bet most of you out there do as well. They decided to take out the top two features on the iPhone and replace them with Apps. They completely suck! The new YouTube app is ridiculous, and the new Maps with turn by turn navigation is absolutely horrifying. It's like they downgraded instead of upgrading our software. I think i'd rather stick with iOS5 than this new POS!

I'm aware of his death, I'm only stating that it's sad the good guys always leave first and now him leaving Apple behind in the hands of a not so Genius is just making me feel apple is going downhill! @Jay Randell: Yes! I'm going to stick with my iphone 4s and downgrade my firmware i like the old youtube and maps way better!
I have a jailbroken iPhone 4S, running 5.1.1 software, but I wish to un-jailbreak the iPhone. Fistly, iTunes isn't recognizing my phone at all, and isn't showing up under devices. Second, when I put my phone into DFU mode and try to restore, iTunes says that it couldn't restore, because it couldn't recognize my device. I really want my iPhone to be restored to factory settings, but I don't know how.
I'm interested in getting my first real smartphone and saw that Verizon has a free iPhone, but with only 8 GB. I don't see myself needing too much space. I still have an iPod nano with only 4GB and I manage. I'm just not sure how much different the phone would be, since I've never had a fancy smartphone before.

I have a dinosaur plan with AT&T and currently receive unlimited data with my iphone. I know that my unlimited data plan will carryover with the new iphone but my question is will the 4G LTE capability of the new iphone work on my current plan? Or will that be an additional charge for the 4G?
I have over 1000 pics and vids on my iPhone 4 with a windows computer. I need to get rid of the pics on my phone for storage reasons so, how do I save all 1000 some odd pics and vids on computer and then delete them off my phone quickly?
